Speech and Language Rehabilitation Service, Ltd. is a private practice of speech and language pathology located in Peoria, Illinois. We are dedicated to serving our clients and their families with the highest quality professional training and resources available.

SLRS, Ltd. provides a full range of services including diagnostic evaluations, therapeutic treatment, consultations, and counseling for children and adults with communication and swallowing disorders.Our staff is comprised of experienced specialists who are caring, responsive, and accessible. Our commitment to continuing education assures that our staff is able to provide the most current and effective treatment for our patients.
Services
We have an ongoing and long-term commitment to serving the specialized needs of all those with communication and swallowing disorders. We have an experienced and diverse staff able to meet the needs of our clients in many different settings including hospitals, nursing homes, home health agencies, schools, special education facilities, and our private offices.
If indicated, treatment can be initiated through SLRS, Ltd. Family members are included in the treatment sessions whenever possible to facilitate carryover into the patient's environment, thereby maximizing the impact of treatment.

We feel that a team approach to treatment is very important and we work closely with the patient, family, physician, and other professionals (i.e., counselor, teacher) to achieve the most efficient and effective results.
The speech-language pathologists at Speech and Language Rehabilitation Service, Ltd. provide services to patients with a wide range of communication disorders. Following are brief descriptions of some of our specialty areas. All therapists at SLRS hold Illinois Early Intervention Specialist and Evaluator Certification and provide speech, language, and swallowing evaluation and treatment to children birth to three years of age.
Speech and Language Rehabilitation Service, Ltd. is composed of three full-time and two part-time speech-language pathologists. All have received their master's degrees in speech-language pathology and hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
