Your foot health is the primary focus of our services at Podiatric Medical and Surgical Associates, PC where all our highly trained physicians are dedicated to excellence in their delivery of patient care. Dr. Michael F. Zarro began the practice that has been a staple in servicing the South Philadelphia and neighboring communities for over 25 years.

The Centers for Disease Control reports that the increasing obesity rates in the United States are alarming.

When your insurance program requires that you see your primary care physician or family doctor to obtain and provide a referral for your visit to our office.

I was well treated from the minute I walked in, I was seen within minutes, and a doctor came in within another minute. Everyone was very professional and yet made the mood feel relaxing and comfortable.
The doctor was polite and had a very pleasant mood that made me comfortable, also she was extremely knowledgeable and very concerned about me and future issues that could happen if I didn't follow her directions/instructions. She had given her concerns and that had given a greater impact on me, but in a way that did concern me without scaring me into a panic attack or any anxiety attack.

Incredible! Kind! Efficient! Quick!
I had a wonderful visit with this practice as a new patient. I was scheduled fir an in person office visit on a short request. The staff was kind and efficient and extremely professional during Covid-19. The doctor spent time reviewing my concern and assured me that everything would be okay.

Everyone has been extremely nice and accommodating to my mother. They remember us, they engage us and are always pleasant. In the 4 years that I’ve been taking my 86-year old mother to this office, we have NEVER had an unpleasant experience. During COVID-19, I’ve been reluctant to take my mother out of the house. They made it very easy and we felt extremely safe. This is a great practice.

So I had an issue which required a foot doctor I had never been to one before so I googled who was closest to me. I found that Podiatric Medical and Surgical Associates was five minutes away so I called for an appointment. The woman I spoke with was extremely nice and friendly she scheduled my appointment for the very next day. She asked me whether my insurance requires a referral and I wasn’t sure so she said don’t worry I’ll call and find out for you! Within 30 minutes she had texted me letting me know that a referral was not needed and she’s see me tomorrow. Everyone was so welcoming
