Before that I was a US Army officer and achieved rank of Captain, and I received an Army Commendation Medal. I decided to become a State Farm agent following in the footsteps of my Father-in-law Bob Loy, who was an agent in Winchester KY for 20 years. I started a brand new agency in Lexington in July of 1980, and have grown to serve more than 2700 families in and around Lexington.
