Charleston Trailer is a locally owned business that has been servicing all types of trailers in the Charleston area since 2012. In 2015 we began manufacturing new custom aluminum boat trailers. We are conveniently located in the Dorchester Industrial Park in North Charleston, off Dorchester Rd. one signal light south of Bosch.

Charleston Trailer features a full service shop. Our service manager has been in the repair industry for over 20 years and will see that your trailer is repaired to the highest standard. Our labor rate is $90/ hour. The service technicians at Charleston Trailer are skilled at repairing a variety of trailers including, but not limited to, boat trailers, landscape trailers, motorcycle trailers, single car haulers and enclosed trailers.
Repairing or servicing your trailer yourself? Charleston Trailer is here to help. We stock all of the trailer parts you need at a very reasonable price. Our parts department carries wheels & tires, side guides, running lights, wiring, bunk carpet, receivers for your vehicle, jacks, rollers, winches, cross-members, fenders in several different styles, seals, bearings, U-bolts, springs, brakes, brake drums and so much more.
Charleston Trailer manufactures new aluminum trailers for boats 14' to 34' at our shop in North Charleston. We build the highest quality aluminum boat trailers on the market. Our materials, the features included, and the workmanship are unmatched. We measure your boat and build the trailer, accordingly, making your trailer a custom fit to your boat.

They built a trailer for my 17 scout Costa. I picked it up today, and it’s some of the finest work and craftsmanship I’ve seen in a boat trailer. Thanks so much. It’s worth the wait, as they are busy, and when you see what they build, you’ll understand why. On a scale of 1-10.......I give it a 12. Beautiful work!

Broke an axle and couldn't find one anywhere in upstate SC. Called Charleston trailer in a panic and they said no problem they could build me one . They had it made the next day I drove down from Greenville to pick it up. Everything lined up perfectly on the trailer when I got back home. Thanks Charleston Trailer!

After 3 years of ownership I regret this trailer purchase. Drove three hours to CT to have my boat fitted and loaded on my new trailer. On return trip home the trailer tire blows out destroying the wheel well. CT did ship me another tire and replacement wheel well which I had to install. I took the trailer to a friend who owns a tire shop and he put 2 new tires on the trailer. After 2 weeks of ownership the rear tail light falls off while traveling down the road. CT sent another tail light bracket for me to install. The bracket would ultimately fail again in the same way because it was thin sheet

I cannot possibly recommend going to Charleston Trailer highly enough. I utilized thier services for my office and they absolutely went above and beyond for us.
We have a custom 25' cargo trailer for carrying a variety of chemical protection and sampling equipment. However, the trailer maintenance itself was neglected for several years. With a strict budget they took it from a road hazard to the ideal method for transporting our equipment.
Without being asked they identified parts we hadn't even considered and maintained open communication when opting for fixing one thing over another, considering

These folks are the ones to get with if you need well made custom trailer parts. Two trips for me, one for axles and springs just to move my trailer, and a second for a complete new brake system. I now have a trailer that pulls like new at half the price. Maggie is always a pleasure to talk to at the counter and Rod is great for the technical questions.
