Based on the concepts of oriental medicine, an acupuncturist works with the body's energy called Qi to treat your illness and pain, restore balance, and promote a healthy lifestyle.
After a thorough evaluation, an acupuncturist makes a diagnosis based on principles of oriental medicine and various acupuncture points are then selected for treatment. By inserting an acupuncture needle or using other modalities (moxibustion, cupping, gua-sha, electro-stimulation, auricular acupuncture), an acupuncturist can effectively treat the imbalances in the body.

This place is life changing. I've gone to different cupping places and they were so-so. This place is on another level. Michael did an amazing job. First he asked which areas I want to work on and after leaving the cups on for 15 mins, he did manual therapy to release even more tension. I have constant tight back and hamstrings and just one session did wonders. I cannot wait to go back.

I suffer form serious back pain, and if you've been following my reviews you probably know this because my first review about the Wellness Room. Ever since then I wanted to find a place that did cupping therapy with fire instead of the suction tool. And like most of my experiences, I found this place on groupon. I got here

I've been going to LaOn every month for cupping for about 2 years.They rub my back with oils made of cinnamon and eucalyptus and cover with hot towels after the cupping. Michael the best, the staff is polite and the place is always clean. I look forward to the experience, the best 45 minutes for $18. This is a New York steal!!!! Shhhh!! Don't tell ANYONE😎

I received a LaOn gift certificate via my work. I was apprehensive at first, as I was new to acupuncture, but my experience was great from start to finish.
The office is clean, the staff is incredibly friendly and professional and made me feel super comfortable (even with needles sticking out of me!).
Would highly recommend.

I visited Dr Kim for acupuncture and deep massage for an elbow injury and for stress relief...Dr Kim is super professional, gentle, and kind...his place is beautiful, modern, clean, and smells amazing. ..I highly recommend Dr Kim as an acupuncturist and specialist in Chinese Medicine

LaOn is a great wellness center and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants acupuncture. I used to go to the acupuncturist, Michael, when he was with a different company. When I heard he was leaving, I knew I couldn't go anywhere else so now, I followed him to his own clinic. He's doing great stuff and got rid of some toe pain that I've had for the past 4 years.
