Services
Denali Park Hotel is a motel-style property located in the small town of Healy, Alaska, just 10 miles north of the park entrance. The motel is in close proximity to four restaurants, coffee shop, gas stations, a bank and a Three Bears grocery store. Flight-seeing, golfing, hiking, rafting, ATV rides and horse-drawn covered wagon tours are all activities that are based out of Healy.
Denali Park Hotel was built with our guests' needs in mind. Every room faces the scenic Alaskan mountain range. Our motel-style property is single-level and easily accessible to all of our guests. We are dedicated to providing a comfortable, clean, quiet & enjoyable atmosphere during your stay with us.
Rooms with three or four adults are charged $10.00 more for each additional adult over two adults in a room. Your credit card number will guarantee your reservation and will not be charged until arrival. Reservations may be canceled without any charge if we receive notice 4 days or more prior to arrival.
While exploring Denali keep in mind the weather changes quite often from sunny, windy, rainy and back to sunny all in one day so dress in layers. Also staying an extra day in the area may reveal the best view of Denali. The best and most affordable way to see both Denali (weather permitting) and the wildlife is to ride the bus into the park.

A great budget option to stay near Denali National Park. Denali Park Hotel is about 15 minutes north of the park. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean. Just note that there is no main building, all rooms are facing the outside.

This hotel is the perfect example of how little you get for your money in Alaska. Bit older and in need of some upgrades. Carpets dated and slight smell upon arrival. For over $250 a night you'd think it would be nicer...They were nice enough to have a late check out though.

Very nice rooms. Great to be able to watch Aurora just outside my door. Heating system is good since it makes no noise. Having a microwave in the room was very convenient

We had a great stay here. Very affordable compared to other places in the area. Room was very clean, everything worked well, and as a bonus we saw three moose on the property during our stay. Two of them we saw from our window!

Great atmosphere and service! At first glance the set-up looks like a motel, but the rooms are really neat and nice. The bathroom was pretty small, but still manageable. We also loved the design of the lobby with the Alaska train cars, so unique and great to take pictures! Also a reasonable drive from Denali visitor center. There is a beautiful lake (Otto Lake) nearby as well, just a short walk along the side of the road from the hotel—it's a real hidden gem!

We had a great stay! If you are looking for a resort with a grand lobby and posh amenities… well, that’s not it. BUT IF you are looking for clean, comfortable, quiet accommodations in a convenient location a step removed from the commercial strip, and with a friendly staff with great local recommendations for food and activities, you found it! I would absolutely stay here again and I would happily recommend it to friends & family!

I stayed in room 7 for two nights in July 2021. The room was just perfect in every way; very clean, great bed, perfect location and very peaceful. I just loved this “old fashioned “ motel. Drive up to your door and walk in. You just can’t beat it. I stayed in 8 or 9 different places for anywhere from 1 to 7 nights in three weeks in Alaska and Denali Park Hotel was my favorite. The office is in a delightfully remodeled Alaskan Railroad car and the property manager was extraordinarily pleasant. The breakfast sandwiches sold at a bargain price and other snacks “ hit the spot”! I will definitely

The only issue was the height of the shower head. It's way too low. It met are needs and expectations and the good folks at the "lobby" were always cheerful, polite and eager to help. W would definitely stay there again

One of the best features of this place is: you got a decent chance to run into wildlife! We actually accidentally/casually walk into a wild moose that was eating just outside the hotel window! It was mind blowing. The hotel itself is ok, basic stuff, clean, no problem. Got a mini fridge and microwave.

The Denali Park Hotel is a great choice for any group visiting the national park with their own transportation. It is in an excellent location: a beautiful 15 minute drive north of the Denali National Park Visitor Center. It is a ten minute drive away from the shops and restaurants catering to Denali visitors. And it is a five minute drive (or a twenty minute walk; and I highly recommend the walk!) from the awesome 49th State Brewery--it's original location. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the manager is incredibly personable and helpful. It seems like we sought her advice on a variety

Extra star for ease of parking right in front of room- can't get much closer for loading and unloading your stuff!
Wide open skies close by- so you can easily head out to chase night skies
Lots of snacks- drinks for purchase in the lobby at very reasonable prices so check that out
Comfortable basic rooms with clean bathrooms, coffee makers, refrigerator and your own microwave- what's not to like about that!

To begin with, this should be named a motel. The price was the same as a regular hotel but with a run down everything. The sinks had drainage problems for both the bath and the wash sink. There is no air conditioning. The heater is a wall heater. This was our first visit to Denali so we didn't know and was expecting a standard that you would have anywhere else.

It is plain and bare, and without breakfast. It is more like a motel than a hotel.

Pros:
- Near Denali Park (about 15 minutes drive)
- Relatively inexpensive (compared to others)

Cons
- Bad Wifi (similar to most Alaska hotels)

Fancy? Not one little bit. High-end facility? Nope. Noteworthy? Not at all.

Clean, comfortable enough place to lay your head close to the park? Yes.
Close to several eating facilities? Yes.
Not cheap but nothing in this area is.

I had wifi the two days I was here. My bed was comfortable and I slept well. I loved walking outside first thing in the morning and seeing the sunrise. I loved being able to walk a short distance, to the lake, and dinner.

Staff were friendly and helpful.

Overall I would say it was below average. Not that bad to stay in clean beds and tv. Not much to look at from the out side, but the worst part about it in my opinion is that it's way too over priced for the quality that's given.

If I went back to Healy, I wouldn't stay in this place. Nothing noteworthy, starting from the location the rooms or the other amenities. It is a below average hotel. Even the heating unit took like 2 hours to heat the room up. The good points about this place is that it wasn't expensive and was only a 15 minutes drive to the park.

When it comes to summer in Alaska and especially Denali National Park it can be difficult to find accommodations that won't leave your wallet screaming out in mercy. Or hotels with strict cancellation policies and pre-payment required is almost unheard of. The Denali Park Hotel is located approximately 15 minutes north of the entrance to Denali National Park and Preserve in the small town of Healy. Located just off the Parks Highway off of Otto Lake Road, the hotel is certainly nothing to look at from the outside. You find several rows of non-descript buildings. But you know you have

As clean as good be expected. Very plain and bare.
No breakfast but items for sale in office
If you like tv - tons of channels.

It's a weird cheap unattractive set of buildings.

The only plus was parking right by door,

I thought pretty expensive for location and cheap accommodations

-occasional wildlife sightings right outside your door
-relative to other lodging options in the area this is pretty affordable

This was the cheapest place we could find in the area, but we drove past a motel advertising $60 a night after we made our $99 reservation here. That was the first of what was to be several bummers.

The carpet was dingy and made me want to wear my shoes the whole time inside. The comforter was a slick unnatural material and I had a sneaking suspicion it hadn't been washed in a while...

I liked the blackout curtains, the satellite tv, and that it was a short drive to food and the park.

It was really weird that the bathroom sink was outside the bathroom (if you're a big person, the

This is a great hotel for anyone who wants to stay close enough to Denali National Park but not have to pay for the ridiculously overpriced hotels right near the entrance.

The hotel lobby is in an old Alaskan train car, which adds a very nice and historic touch to this hotel. There are plenty of rooms at a good rate that's great compared to anywhere else near the park. Although the rooms are pretty old, it's not like you're going to be spending all day in them, so don't expect luxury.

Overall, it's a great hotel with a great location. My brother and fellow Yelper Arkadiy
