Recently I visited Mohawk Army Navy in Latham, NY while on vacation with my son. We stopped there before heading further up north for hiking in Stillwater, etc. The store was put together well, expansive inventory on Red Wing boots, etc. Downstairs, is a good selection of safety equipment, hiking gear, survival items, etc. Upstairs, memorable items included pins, knives and supporter merchandise. We found a handful of cool souvenirs and checked out on our way up north. Thanks!

Never have bigger size shoes instock. Of course you can order. But do they fit after you order and wait even longer for a 50/50 chance. Pricey.

The store Manager Corey And 2 other employees Went above and beyond to help me find the Perfect work boots for my stubborn feet. I will be shoe shopping at this store for now on. They have a very big selection of work boots. I highly recommend this store.

I marked it 4 stars then I marked it 5 stars it could've easily been 5 easily. The 4 stars I rethought it isn't their fault companies aren't making and shipping boots. The service was 5 stars plus. Although they were swamped they ran and got me 8 different type boots and I think one I tried a size up. They stayed patient and courteous .

Went to Mohawk Army Navy today with my brother to buy him a winter coat. He has an old carhartt that he wore inside the store. While there we were asked about 5 different times if we needed any help. I let the associate know we were looking for a coat and we didn't need anything. My brother was trying on a bunch of coats to see which 1 he liked and how they fit. The same guy walks to his coworker and tells him to keep an eye on us. He didn't realize I overheard him say that at the time, but I did. So the other guy comes over and starts some small talk. The great customer service Heather, Emily, & Jordan gave is why I'm recommending this store and will be back myself when the time comes I need something that they carry. I went into this place like a kid in the candy shop! It was awesome! They had a nice heavy weight reflective jacket made of polyester, perfect for running. I was all set to buy that and go to the back of the store to start trying on some really good footwear when I saw the Confederate flag sticker.

This is a dealbreaker, folks! Ignorance does not excuse bigotry. You lost a hefty sale and got a bad review. Think about it. Get back to me when you're willing to have some ethics.

As an habitue of Army-Navy stores dating back to when they actually sold Army-Navy surplus, I will say that the typical confederate-flag quotient present at such stores is dialed way down here, relatively. There's pretty much no surplus at all, and only a smattering of camouflage gear for the weekend warrior wannabes. There's also almost no hunting gear, which is often a staple of such places, and while there are some unit patches and a few bits of military memorabilia

I couldn't believe the selection at this place. Their boots are top to bottom better than any other place in the capital district. Prices are unbelievable.
