The Newcomb Company was started in 1975 by Bob Newcomb. Starting out building a few homes each year, Bob measured his success by exceptional craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
Quality was never sacrificed in the name of speed, cost, or aesthetics. Over the years, the company changed focus to commercial construction, but these fundamentals continued to shape the business. In 1992, Bob's son Bret joined the business and landed the company's very first concrete tilt-up project.

The Murray Parker Memorial Award recognizes an individual who has significantly contributed to the growth of the tilt-up industry where no standard had previously existed. Recipients include those whose innovation, entrepreneurial spirit and leadership serve to introduce tilt-up to new markets, regions or applications, and whose efforts thereby raise the bar for the entire industry.
Concrete tilt-up is one of the fastest growing building methods in the U.S., and Newcomb Construction has been leading the charge for over 30 years. Since 1992, Newcomb Construction has been Wisconsin's leader in concrete tilt-up construction. In the early 1990's Madison was primarily a metal building town.
