Hello I am Brad Olsen, a native Washingtonian living in Baring since 1976. I own Whispering Waters which has been a Washington state vacation cabin rental since 1999, as well as Sky Beach Cabin. My business philosophy is to provide well maintained cabin rentals without added booking fees.

You'll say wow when you enter this cozy romantic cabin because of the woodsy knotty pine interior and the soaring cathedral ceiling. Adding to the romantic ambiance is the loft with a king bed and private balcony. Additionally, there is a seasonal river rock gas fireplace, river view dining, and authentic cabin decor.
The cabins are located in a rural area of the western foothills of the Cascade Mountain range of Washington state. The area is not "touristy", yet attracts thousands of visitors due to the scenic and outdoor recreational attractions.

Wow! Glad to see this place is still going strong! We spent our honeymoon here in December of 2001. What an AMAZING place. It's so beautiful there. The cabin was immaculate, and the owners were so wonderful. The decor was beautiful and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. One of the best memories of my life and they deserve TEN stars if I could give them!

Sky Cabins = Paradise! My husband and I have stayed in 3 different cabins that Janet has managed!!!! Whispering Waters is our favorite! We started renting from Janet in 2008! Every time we stay here we appreciate the unique qualities of this cabin! Perfectly spotless, great king bed, kitchen well stocked with everything you need, cable TV for football games, fire pit by the river, well maintained hot tub, electric fireplace, Recliner couch, close to grocery store, nearby hiking, games and puzzles provided and beautiful sunsets! We have rented many places for weekend getaways and

We stayed here in December, and unfortunately the power was out for the entire time we were there (through no fault of the owners). They did what they could to help, including running a generator, but it was less than ideal. After our stay, the owners agreed to credit us the cost of the lodging + tax to a future stay. We booked the stay 2 nights in February (in the middle of December), requested time off work, and arranged childcare for our little boy so we could have a get away. They accepted our reservation and asked for a deposit, which we paid. 3 weeks later, I got a very brief email from the

We've rented whispering waters at least a half dozen times. It is perhaps one of the nicest, cleanest, best appointed place that we escape to.
The beds are super comfy and to sit in the relaxing hot tub while listening to the river sing her song is amazing.
Everything you need is there, including a starter supply of coffee, some condiments and spices, and paper products.
The cabin has certainly evolved since our first visit, an electric fireplace, newer stove, etc., but seriously, it's just an incredible place to stop and renew.
