Dr. Gates grew up in Fresno, graduating at the top of the Bullard High School class of 2000. He spent weekends and summers working at his father's vineyard in Madera where he learned many skills and values which can be applied to dentistry. After high school, Dr. Gates then attended the University of California, Berkeley, graduating in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cell Biology.
Dr. Van Hoff graduated from the University of the Philippines College of Dentistry in 1989. In 2000, she moved to the US and got married. She received her California dental license in 2003. She loves to spend her weekends hiking in the mountains and is passionate about the outdoors. She loves to read, watch foreign films and plays classical music on the piano.
Art has the Mirelez Wellness Dental center located right across the street from Bullard High School. You've been doing some great things over there, I know a lot of people have gone to and I just hear all the time what a great work you do. Tell people what you do. You know the Mirelez Wellness Dental center is focused on just getting people healthy and well.

I will never forget how you helped me during the worst pain of my life.
I was new to the valley and without insurance, had the worst pain ever and had to be seen or my brain would be seriously damaged from pain nerves. Those heroes saved me by not only setting me with the soonest emergency appointment in the whole valley but they also called me 2 hours after to notify me that I could be seen sooner and on a sunday and before memorial day, they truly told me we want you to enjoy your holiday and they meant it.
When I arrived I had a dentist pricing paranoia. The front desk staff totally showed

Genuinely the best dentist office I've ever been to. Had a true dental emergency and was seated in the dental chair 1.5 hrs after calling in! Staff is incredibly warm and didn't make me feel nervous or embarrassed in any way. Plenty of options for those without insurance as well. 100% would recommend to those in need.

Giving a two out five stars due to the fact that this company and the dental hygienist, herself, had stopped the front desk from charging me, and said that I did not need to pay because I was there to just get antibiotics, so no work was essentially done to me. Now they’re sending me a fine and charging me for the work that was done on me, and after multiple attempts of contacting them, they claimed I have no intentions of paying the fee and will send a collection to me and have actually charged me more, when I had no issues paying up front in the first place but was told I didn’t need to.

I took my son there when he was in the worst pain, I looked everywhere to find someone who would see him that day and I finally found somewhere. When I brought my son in the staff was so nice to him treated him like he was their child he was so comfortable there and loves how nice everyone is. Not only were they nice to my son but so nice to me and worked with me and I'm so thankful for that. My son can be a handful at times but they were patient and understanding made sure my son knew what was going on throughout the whole procedure. I called this place yesterday in severe pain due to a wisdom tooth coming out I didn’t have any insurance and the price was very reasonable they took care of me with love and compassion I definitely highly recommend them! Didn’t feel a thing and I had the tooth taken out before the afternoon I came here because I had read nothing but good reviews on them and I don’t regret it I found my new dental place❤️ . I will definitely being going back again.

Just want to let On-Call Dental know how much I really appreciate them for taking their time with me & my teeth issues. I’m so thankful that they are open during the weekend as some of us don’t have time during the weekdays due to work. This dental place have such an amazing staff ! It’s been years that I went to a dental place & I have to admit they swept me off my feet of how kind they are ! Elena who works at the front desk is amazing ! Tiffani who was assisting Dr. Gates is super helpful . Also, Dr. Gates who has been dealing with me since my first day there couple months ago is FANTASTIC

I would highly recommend this dental office. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. That alone makes one feel at ease. I had an extraction and didn’t feel any pain or discomfort. I can say today I faced my fear of going to the dentist! Definitely coming back for all of my future dental needs!
