Each year, more than 3.3 million Americans are diagnosed with skin cancer. While skin cancer is not always life threatening, it can progress if left untreated. Memphis Dermatology Clinic offers the most advanced treatment for skin cancer: Mohs micrographic surgery. This procedure offers the greatest potential for cure, 98% or higher, while minimizing the cosmetic impact on the patient.
This treatment uses a variety of chemicals including glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and trichloroacetic acid. These peels vary in strength and can help acne, fine lines, and discoloration. This treatment is one of the most advanced, reliable, and effective methods of decreasing dark, unwanted hair growth.

I came to Dr. Chantara after having a really disappointing experience at another dermatology practice in Memphis. Dr. Chantara actually took the time to listen to my concerns, address my medical background, and lay out all my treatment options. Dr. Chantara wants the best for her patients and goes above and beyond.

It is hard to give a positive review for Memphis Dermatology Clinic because we have never been seen within 45 minutes of our scheduled appointment (in other words, we’ve sat in the waiting room and waited and waited and waited Every Single Time). Third appointment in three months. Our $100+ copay doesn’t help either, but that’s not their fault.

I drove from Jackson, TN to bring my four year old daughter to see “Mr Dr. Buckley.” He was so attentive and thorough and answered all the questions I had along with questions my four year old came up with. Unlike many doctors we’ve seen in Jackson, he followed up to make sure her issue was resolved. We will be going back to him for any and all skin care needs we have in the future!

Dr. Chantara just hung up the phone on me before I could finish the reason for my call. I had called already twice today and now have to call again tomorrow simply to get a refill. I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt. But this is the second issue with Dr. Chantara and the clinic I have had. I just suggest caution and maybe try to find another dermatologist.

I have moles on my face that have recently gotten bigger and bleed every time I shave, no matter how careful I am. The doctor was very dismissive, telling me that my insurance wouldn't cover their removal "just because I want to look prettier", and overrode the determination by my insurance company that what I was asking for was necessary and covered. I was told I could either pay almost a thousand dollars out of pocket, or I could just go home. I will be seeking a second opinion at another location.

I can’t express how great this place has been. Dr. Parker has been incredibly attentive and followed up multiple times to see how my medication was working and how my psoriasis was progressing. He’s very knowledgeable and listened to my concerns and explained things very thoroughly. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. My previous dermatologist with a different company dismissed me and never followed up to see if there had been any improvement. It’s literally night and day experiences. I highly recommend Memphis Dermatology Clinic and Dr. Buckley Parker.

Would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lawhead. She was very friendly and comfortable to be around. She was also very informative and knowledgeable explaining her plan for me. She was not in any hurry and listened to all of my questions/concerns - I felt like I could talk to her for hours. We worked on a plan for my skin together which I loved and she made sure I was taken care of. My experience was more than great and I will be returning to her for the foreseeable future.

Memphis Dermatology Clinic offers advanced skin care treatments. Dr. Friedman and Staff are worth my five-hour drive. Because of the excellent care I receive there, they will forever have me as a patient. Dr. Friedman is beautiful on the inside and out. Mrs. Friedman's assistant, Gayle, is like having your best friend to hold your hand. Despite their busy practice, they are always professional with a kind disposition. I excitedly await my next appointment on April 18th. Thank you for offering me care that is second to none.

Highly recommended! Dr. Friedman and her staff are absolutely wonderful. I previously had a negative experience with a different dermatologist and the way Dr. Friedman and her staff treated me actually made me glad that I had that bad experience and ended up being under their care.

My teenager had a very serious illness, requiring weekly trips to our dermatologist. Dr. Lawhead and her team were amazing! She is a compassionate, caring person and I highly recommend her. As a healthcare provider myself, I was so impressed with the way she and her entire staff handled my son’s medical treatment. Teenagers can be a challenge but she went above and beyond taking care of him for several months, always making sure he knew what he needed to do to get well, and not just talking to me, the parent. Loved her, loved everyone that we dealt with from the front desk to the billing department
