Virgin Valley Veterinary Hospital was established as a mobile pet clinic servicing the Clark County animal population as well as the City of Mesquite's domestic animals. Since this time, we have faithfully provided exceptional animal healthcare to various types of animals from young to old.

We will strive with the utmost honesty, integrity and compassion to provide our clients and their pets with the leading edge of medicine in combination with the utmost devoted care, in a constant effort to exceed their expectations. We will constantly strive to better ourselves in a continuing effort to provide only the best possible care for our clients and their pets.
Services
Virgin Valley Veterinary Hospital is pleased to offer the most comprehensive diagnostic lab available in veterinary medicine to our clients. In the past, blood work had to be sent to an outside diagnostic laboratory for analysis, but our instruments provide our doctors results within minutes so treatment can begin immediately if needed for your pet.
One of our friendly faces when you are greeted at the front desk is Wendy. Wendy comes to us from Klamath Falls, Oregon. She graduated from Mazama High School. For the last 10 years, she has worked off and on here at Virgin Valley Veterinary Hospital. She loves animals and she will care for your loved pet the same way she cares for her 10 year-old yorkie/Dachshund, Lily, and her 10 year-old chocolate lab, Jazmine.
Ericka is one of our dedicated kennel staff at Virgin Valley Veterinary Hospital. She makes sure that your pet is well fed, properly exercised and kept comfortable while staying in our kennel facilities. She attended Beaver Dam High School and has 4 children: Leslie, Lesset, Yesenia, and Erika. Elvira is our new Kennel Supervisor at Virgin Valley Veterinary Hospital.
Virgin Valley Veterinary Hospital is excited to offer treatment for those animals that suffer from moderate to severe allergies that cause discomfort and pain to the pet. If you notice that your pet constantly bites itself, or scratches and whimpers while scratching then you should call our hospital to set up an appointment.
An often overlooked, but necessary aspect of healthcare in animals is dental care. The idea of brushing your pet's teeth may strike you as humorous, but the veterinarians at Virgin Valley Veterinary Hospital want you to know that this simple act may prevent several serious problems later down the road for your pet.

A bit over priced and they had to transfer my dogs care to a 24 hr clinic but couldn't provide the GI series I paid $400 for. Was told they couldn't download to disc so asked them to email. They sent but in Google drive format that we could not access so had to pay 24hr clinic for all new. Sad!!! And VERY EXPENSIVE.

I have been taking my feline friends to Virgin Valley Veterinary Hospital for probably eight years. There are plenty of vets in Southern Utah where we live, but I would rather take them to Dr. Brown. So far Milkshake has lost five and a half pounds since Dr. Brown prescribed special food for him. He's still 23 pounds, but he's moving around so much more easily and seems happier! They recently helped Peeka survive pancreatitis and triaditis that required hospitalization, medication, and a feeding tube. Dr. Brown saved Russell's life when he turned yellow and stopped eating a couple years ago. We

This is by far the best Veterinary in town Tammy Brown is awesome. The whole staff and all the doctors are the best. They take time with you and your pet and make you feel very comfortable. I think they are fairly priced and go out of their way to be sure you understand everything. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr. Shafer was super, i was able to be with my pup in the examination room which calmed my pup. He was treated for dry eyes and given his vaccinations. The whole office was welcoming and friendly. You could feel that everyone truly cares for your fur babies

They have been taking care of my best friend for about 6 years. He's my service dog and is very important to me. Recently he started getting sick at 11 it's very important that he gets the best care.
Both the Dr's there are amazing, they don't do extra tests just for a payday and they are caring as is their staff. They are the best !!!
