Inquired with them on a car. All went well. Later inquired for a personal loan. Poor experience. Spoke with Patrick, who had a very unprofessional tone and sounded condescending/rude when being skeptical of my income. Perhaps he should find a job that better suites his financial needs so he doesn’t offensively doubt what else someone makes.

Terrible service. Cards blocked for legitimate purchases...you have to spend hours on the phone clearing up their gross incompetence and then when you are told your card is unblocked they LIE and it is still blocked and you have to go thru the BS security questions again. Their security team is untrained, unhelpful and incompetent. UBER charges get flagged. Makes me think that there is racist underpinnings in their security system.

DuPage Credit union is the best! I have my condo mortgage with them at the lowest rate available at the time and my auto loan at the lowest rate you can get for the year make model! Don't walk into a dealership until they gave you your pre approved loan. The customer service was excellent and it was a very stress free process. I will always use DuPage Credit Union!!

We wanted to really like this place and get a mortgage with them because of the benefits to going with a credit union. We went in to start the paper work process. The rep was great! She was very personable and friendly. She sent out our paper work on to a mortgage loan officer, Nora. She seemed a bit detached when I explained our situation over the phone. She later emailed me asking for documents which I sent right away, but I also asked her a few brief questions. That was a Thursday. I didn't hear back from her Friday, Monday and on and on until the FOLLOWING Monday! No apology or explanation

I live in Cook County but work in Elmhurst so I am happy that I qualified to join the credit union. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences since I joined. I have had 2 vehicle loans, a credit card, savings account, and when I move I will be looking to get my mortgage with DuPage CU as well. They make everything so easy that I’m nearly ready to shut down my Chase account and bring it over as well. Thank you!

DuPage Credit Union has been in decline for the past few years and I am done with the horrible customer service and the other issues of debit card and check transactions being declined when I have thousands in funds and am being declined over sub-$100 purchases. My card was locked multiple times this week despite my validating the charges. Again… today, I had an issue as a checkout clerk was put on infinite hold trying to get clearance on a check that I had more than adequate funds to cover. The credit union will happily take your money, but good luck getting it out. I was also low-balled

When I needed a bank or Credit Union within walking distance, DuPage Credit Union was the best fit. Between location and their shared branch banking, things have worked out very well for the last 5 years. While it hadn't always been perfect, they have always made things right when there have been issues.
These reasons, along with their staff's… customer-focused approach is what led to to move my main accounts to them as well. When I unfortunately had to end an almost 40 year banking relationship with another institution, DuPage Credit Union was the only option I looked at to replace it.

I have been a credit union member for over 15 years but that will be coming to an end soon. Customer service has gone down the toilet the past few years. They seam to think they can treat you like garbage, like the big banks out there, but not offer the same accessibility, account variety or services. Closing my credit union account = best day of my banking life.

Very happy with my recent auto refi with Dupage Credit Union. Matt Bretz was a great guy to work with. Made everything go as smooth as possible and took his time to answer all my questions. He definitely is great representative of this financial institution. I will with no hesitation recommend him or Dupage Credit Union to friends and family.
