If you are tired of the tradition of spending long periods in waiting rooms, little time with the doctor, and impersonal care, Chantilly Family Dentistry may be the perfect dental office for new patients. When you arrive in our reception area, you'll be greeted by Jennifer, who knows your name. You won't find a closed window with a placard telling you to sign in on the clipboard in front of you.
If there is not an emergency concern, the first visit typically involves a comprehensive exam and diagnosis. This takes approximately one hour and twenty minutes. This time is necessary to accomplish several goals. After chatting and understanding your concerns as a patient, we will review your medical and dental histories.
Do you feel like you need a second dental opinion? Have you received a treatment plan that was unexpected? Do you have unanswered questions about your treatment plan from a dentist here in Fairfax County or Loudoun County (or elsewhere)? Dentistry has become more complex over the years. Understanding it can be difficult, and many dentists struggle with explaining it.
I went to Dr. To when he was still in Centreville at Dr. Ackerman and Associates. He told me he was unable to tell his clients he was opening up his own practice, but my husband got it out of the hygienist at his last cleaning. And even though we moved to Fairfax, it's worth the drive out to Chantilly to see Dr. To.
If my tooth doesn't hurt and my filling is still in place, why would the filling need to be replaced?. Constant pressure from chewing, grinding or clenching can cause dental fillings, or restorations, to wear away, chip or crack. Although you may not be able to tell that your filling is wearing down, your dentist can identify weaknesses in your restorations during a regular check-up.

Everyone from the front desk to the doctor were all so great and nice! I’ve never had such a great experience before like here today! Dr. Kim was very gentle and careful when cleaning my teeth since I do have a lot of gum sensitivity. Also, I loved how I can watch the office while getting my teeth cleaned:) Again, this place was wonderful and highly recommend them to everyone!

I have been to many dentists throughout my lifetime; however Dr To is the very best by far. He is patient and never rushes through my visit; he’s very kind and gentle; and has such a great sense of humor. Jennifer, the receptionist, is such a sweetheart, as well as the entire staff! I always leave my visit with a smile on my face... no matter what the visit was for. I highly recommend this dentist for anyone of any age!

I also highly recommend Chantilly Family and Cosmetics! I have been going to this place for about 7 years now and they are one of the best dentist places that I have ever gone too. When you walk into the place it is so welcoming you feel just like home! All the doctors are really great at what they do and it’s not painful at all unlike other dentists. They are very clean very professional I highly recommend this place!

Highly recommend Chantilly Family & Cosmetic Dentistry! After seeing the same dentist for 20 years, I decided to find a dentist closer to home. I’m so glad I found this place. The professionalism, friendliness began the moment I walked in the door. I was incredibly nervous and Dr. To made me feel comfortable from the get go. He took his time explaining everything and answered all my questions. Love his sense of humor too!

Dr. To is very thorough, patient, and careful. I definitely needed a dentist that is patient as I’ve always been terrified of going to the dentist. However, Dr. To is so gentle and the only dentist I am not in fear of! I had a horrible infection and needed a root canal. He was patient with me and worked to my comfort. Not pushy, and very understanding, which I really appreciated. Staff was also very friendly and welcoming! Practice is clean and cozy. I would highly recommend him!

Chantilly Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is one of the best dentistry I have been with. The entire staff and Dentist are professional in all ways. You will be so pleased to come here and you will never go to any other Dental practice again.

We’ve been going to Dr. To for 7 years now. He has the best bed-side manner of almost any doctor I know. He’s really personable with his patients and has always done a great job, whether it’s routine cleanings or fillings. The staff are also really nice and accommodating. Even though we moved farther away over 2 years ago, we still go to Dr. To because we know it would be hard to find anyone else that compares. I highly recommend Dr. To!

My experience at Chantilly Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is great. I am seeing Dr To for last 3 years and always had good conversation with him (dental health as well other topics). He is very considerate and provides me options with pros and cons for procedures. The entire staff is professional, accommodating and makes you very comfortable.
