Gerontologist and owner of Bellamy and Watson Fields, Dr. John Hopkins enjoyed a Jesuit Prep School education, then attended Villanova and Marywood Universities and the University of Pittsburgh. He accumulated a Bachelors and two Masters Degrees and the Doctor of Public Health Degree. The Pittsburgh experience began in 1977 and involved working in clinical and administrative positions at a Veterans Administration psychiatric hospital.
ANATOMY OF AN OUTBREAK: THE SECOND YEAR The first positive test among Fields residents and staff for the virus was reported on 3/17/20. No residents have tested positive at Bellamy since the initial outbreak ran its course. This was always a loaded HR category for me and it usually applied to sending people home early in anticipation of big snowstorms.
Bill has moved from his position leading the dietary department to become our Human Resources Manager. Previous experiences in employee relations and operations, as well as his experiences at Bellamy and Watson, should give Bill the tools to do the job. A native of Westwood, Massachusetts, he graduated from Providence College with a BA in English studies.
Bellamy and Watson grew from about fifty employees the first year to over 200 staff members in 2018. Two-thirds of our staff is in our Nursing departments. The Administrators and HR Manager welcome nursing applications continuously.

Bellamy Fields and Watson Fields assisted living facilities look alike on the inside and out. A thoughtfully planned out one level design allows our residents easy movement while the secure buildings allow access to all areas of the facilities, providing families with peace of mind.
