Cozy Kids is a family based childcare and was first licensed here in Shasta County in 1981. We received our national accreditation from the National Association of Family Childcare Providers in 2006 and again in 2009. Carol is the primary caregiver for the children in our care.
She has earned A.S. degrees in Human Development and Social Sciences from Shasta College, a B.S. in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College, and a Masters in Education with an emphasis in early learning and education from Liberty University.She is currently enrolled in post graduate studies in educational leadership at Liberty.

Services
Our facilities include a spacious and well-equipped playroom solely for the use of the children in our care. We also use our kitchen, dining, family and living rooms. We use these rooms for naps, music, cooking projects, quiet reading, board games, in the early morning and during nap time.
There is a large fenced yard, about a quarter acre, situated just off the main playroom equipped with a large jungle gym, swings, slide, climbers, two play houses, teeter totters, tricycles, sand box, water table complex, garden, tricycle track, stage, and an assortment of trucks, balls, etc.We are situated on four acres at the end of the road in a country setting, but only minutes from downtown Anderson and the I 5 on ramp.

Daily part time rates are $35 a day for children age two and up as space is available. Full time is $700 a month for five days a week up to 10 hours a day for ages 12 months and up. We offer a drop in rate of $5 an hour, with a 4 hour minimum when space is available for children age 2 and up. Date nights are offered monthly from 5-10 PM.

I had high hopes based on the Google reviews. Unfortunately when I called today, the woman who answered was extremely unhelpful. I asked to speak to the director and she responded curtly with, "I can help you." She did not even state her name. She then proceeded to tell me there were no openings with no details or information until I pulled it out of her. I am sure this place is as wonderful as everyone has made it out to be but for a parent looking for a warm and safe environment for their children, this is not the first impression that should have been made. I will no longer be considering Cozy

My 3 yr old son needed to get out more and socialize with other kids, so my wife and I looked at over 25 places online and narrowed that to 7 to visit. The other places either felt to corporate like a McDonald's of preschools (one even had a chat feature online, and the guy I spoke with was in Minnesota ) or were dirty and seemed unsafe. Then we went to cozy kid's and the staff and building was just right, not to corporate and not spotless with a bunch of kids playing in each class room. We decided right after our tour that this was the place. They worked with us on our sons schedule and have been

My grandson attends this preschool. At first I was skeptical. I was home with my kids and never placed them in daycare. I do have to say that this school is fantastic. The teachers and staff are kind and nurturing. The kids all seem happy and have a lot of fun. My grandson is happy and is learning a lot! He loves his friends at "his school". I would recommend this school/daycare to anyone! We have been here almost 3 years now. and every day is a good day!
