Jennifer Dempsey is the founder and development officer for Salida Circus. Before she established Salida Circus in 2007, Jennifer spent 12 years with the Belfast Community Circus in Northern Ireland, 2 years with Circo Rum Ba Ba in London, and 5 years running the Scarlet Sisters Circus in Orange County, California with her sister Jessica.
In addition to being a performing circus Salida Circus offers circus training for students of all ages. They offer this training via Salida Circus Outreach Foundation. Our traveling circus allows us to take these talented kids out on the road to perform for real-world audiences. Some of our students go on to become professional circus performers.
Northglenn Pirate Festival includes two unique events over one great weekend. A traditional pirate feast including pirate music, crowning of the "Pirate King", scavenger hunt, dancing, and costume contest. Followed by a hands on event for your whole family to enjoy. At the event there will be pirate bounce houses, great pirate themed music, a cardboard boat regatta, activities for both kids and adults and more.
