Red Becker founded Lewis Street Glass in 1919. The business began as a one-stall shop on Lewis St. and grew to a 23,000 square foot facility. George Bradshaw and his wife Barb ran the business with Red until he retired in 1973. George and Barb's daughter Deb and her husband, Bob Crager, came on board in 1975 after he completed his service for the US Air Force in Germany.
Bob Bradshaw and Bob Crager became partners in 1982 when George retired. Bob and Deb Crager purchased the building and the other half of the business, becoming sole owners, in 1994. The business continued to grow and expand, offering commercial, residential and automotive glass services. In 2003, Lewis Street Glass expanded to the current location at 743 S. Market.

I got a chip on my windshield Friday afternoon. I called to schedule an appointment and to my surprise they worked on Saturday until 1pm. I was able to schedule a Sat appt at 10. They fixed the chip and had me on my way in good time. The chip repair was very reasonably priced. Thank you Lewis Street Glass.

Very poor install 3 months ago .. noticed this week water is leaking inside and was never doing so before install .. Janie and Lonnie came today to inspect the situation .. they were defensive and unwilling to help me and just didn't care .. didn't even offer to do any silicone .. anything at all .. they said there is no way it's what they did ..it's leaking above the window install and never leaked before .. I would never recommend them again to anyone.. sloppy work with poor customer service

I had a windshield installed in my wife's hotrod here. I had done it myself in the past, I had a rock chip that cracked out and just didn't have the time to do it this time. I left there happy, (good price) but found out soon enough that it was a rushed job. It has a split windshield with a division bar. The division bar was loose, I had to end up replacing it because the threads were stripped out. (That's not what upsets me, old stuff breaks) The inside trim was not even tight either. What upsets me is that they let it leave like that.
One good thing; it doesn't leak
