Make sure you know who's removing your existing flooring. If you wish, the installer will do it. If not, you should make arrangements to have it removed. Next, decide in advance if you want to take on the responsibility or if you want the installer to handle it. Either way, be sure to remove all fragile items from the room.

Terrible delay in installation of carpet....went into the store...picked out the carpet...gave payment by credit card, two weeks later still waiting for installation....owner claimed he had a BIG job at one of the hotels in the are and my job, one room 10x10, obviously does not rate a high priority in installing,,,I am not happy....
