Mostly clean, no weird smells, bed was comfortable (and I'm picky!) Shower door could have been cleaned better and there was a small stain on the bed spread, but other than that I was ok with the cleanliness level. Smelled fresh, they had the window open for us! Room was small but very functional, and we liked the comfy chair. Fan in the room was a nice touch too. Great location, but quite a bit of road noise and next-room-over noise. Would stay here again though, when we need a decent basic room.

We had stains on our sheets that looked like bed bug stains! We told the hotel manager to change our sheets in the morning. His response was something about COVID and how they have a high turnover. I realize this is a motel but they charge 2 star hotel prices and we can’t even get clean sheets? We paid $398.88 for a 4 night stay. The hotel manager told us that he would give us a 50% discount on the first night since we had to sleep on dirty sheets our first night. We never heard about the discount after that. He did switch out our sheets to clean ones which was nice but why tell us you will give

Location 3x! Downtown shops and restaurants 4 blocks, ferry to Canada 6 blocks, Fiesta Jalisco Mexican cuisine one block, Swains General Store (must see), Post Office to get stamps and mail postcards one block.
The Ocean breeze was grand, two blocks east to Francis St and down to the coastal trail. Olympic National Park, Hurricane Ridge road entrance, 1.8 miles. It’s like the Swiss Alps up there!
David, a courteous and efficient manager, took great care of us during our stay. Wifi and TV worked just fine.

Pros:
Staff: Very friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and helpful.
Room was clean and everything was in place. Big enough.
Views from the upper floor directly to mountains was superb
Parking on site
Cons:
Thin walls: Could hear everything on the other rooms.
Noisy: Because of the previous point it was noisier than I would have hoped for
Breakfast not included
Location: Far from Port Angeles downtown (>15' walking)

Staff was super friendly, helpful and very accommodating. They had a cancellation so they upgraded us to a larger suite. However, it didn't have air conditioning. It wasn't bad the first night because it was cool but the next day it was hot. They did provide extra fans for us to use. Ice machine was broke. I would like to give it more stars but the advertised price was $79 a night and we ended up paying $300 for just 2 nights. The motel is ok, it's older but the beds were comfy and it was clean. (I'm very picky about both of those)
