An Independent Practice Group of Licensed Clinical Psychologists and Licensed Master's Level Therapists. AMH was founded in 1993 as a coordinated response to a rapidly changing health care delivery system being driven by the early developments of managed health care. We began as an interdisciplinary team of clinicians sharing the goal of providing integrated, quality mental health care in an egalitarian independent practice association model.
We have since evolved into a long-standing, cohesive group of 26 Master's Level Therapists and Doctorate Psychologists working together in mutual support and community involvement, fostering professional excellence, and collectively navigating a changing mental health care environment. Barbara Overson, LMHC, is our Chief Executive Officer and Letisha Stokes manages the group practice.

AMH provides confidential mental health services for adults, adolescents, children, couples, families, and groups. Find the right therapist for you below. Educational and Professional Background: Barbara Overson, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, received her Master of Science degree in Psychology: Mental Health Counseling from Western Washington University in 2007.
Under preferred group and individual contracts, AMH providers accept most major HMO and PPO health care coverage including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield networks, CHPW, First Choice, HMA, Kaiser Permanente, Lifewise, Molina, Premera, Regence, Uniform, and various other insurance plans. Some of our members also accept WA State Apple Care and Medicare.
