Originally built in 1905, the building was first used as horse stables and served as the clubhouse to the golf course that once resided within the park. Stone Mountain granite walls, original ivy-covered windows, and traditional wooden planked walls have been preserved to honor the building's history.

Services
Built in 1928, the Piedmont Room was first the home of the clubhouse for the golf course that resided within Piedmont Park. Now, it hosts some of Atlanta's most memorable occasions. The original Stone Mountain granite walls and ivy-covered windows remain in the foyer while the main room features a modern feel with soaring windows, dark bamboo hardwoods and 15+' ceilings.
Soaring ceilings with white silk lining, crystal & gold chandeliers, and built-in air-conditioning and heating units----this is not your typical outdoor setting! A private Meadow adjacent to the Piedmont Garden Tent can be used for wedding ceremonies, cocktail receptions, and more. Rental of the venue includes ivory table linens, gold chavari chairs with ivory cushions, votive candles, up-lighting, and complimentary self-parking for event guests.

I would not recommend this venue. The paperwork you are required to sign on your mobile device has a poor and confusing interface with very small letters and light grey font. Challenging for the visually impaired. Difficult to enjoy events whilst they have enforcers constantly patrolling for mask compliance. There is a bar available so one can only assume they encourage purchases, yet I was scolded more than once mid sip. Perhaps because of my ethnicity, perhaps because I was expected to drink through my mask, perhaps because i needed extra help with my vision while signing the waiver, but

Ashley, Lauren and the team at the Piedmont Room were so great to work with. Piedmont Room was my first choice venue from the moment I saw it online, and after meeting and touring with Ashley and learning all they had to offer, I barely considered any other spots. I am SO happy with my decision and really enjoyed working with this amazing team. They are so incredibly good at what they do - seasoned vets in the wedding and event planning business is an understatement. Their organization, genuine care, professionalism, accommodations, and resources made the wedding planning process

I had an amazing experience working with this venue. I live out of state & they were very accommodating when it came to meetings, tastings, etc. Ashley was super nice & efficient with all of our info and questions. Not to mention the location was just beautiful!

Our wedding was on 10/03/2021 and it was everything we wanted. Everything was perfect. Lauren was wonderful from the beginning to the very end. The venue is absolutely beautiful and the staff was very professional. The food and drinks were amazing, and we highly recommend The Piedmont Room.

We hosted our alumni club annual holiday social event at The Piedmont Room at Park Tavern and from start to finish is was a wonderful experience. Ashley McLaughlin, was professional, responsive, and flexible with any question and was extremely patient and pleasant. She gave attention to all the little details and even thought of things that we more than likely wouldn't have. The entire staff on event day was very helpful, professional and nice. The holiday decor was beautiful and many people raved about the pork tacos. The ice skating rink was an added bonus. I highly recommend this space and team

We had our wedding here on October 1, 2021.
Everything about the experience was top tier. Their excellent staff kept us right on track the entire night and checked on us frequently. When we realized our cake stand that the cake was suppose to go in didn't make it to the venue in time, they stepped up and provided one for us. Ashley was so sweet and made sure the little details were followed through. She at one point heard me asking my bridesmaids to help "fluff" my dress before I walked down the aisle and she assured me she would be right there to make sure it was perfect before I walked down

As soon as I walked into Piedmont Garden Tent, I knew it was where I wanted to get married. Working with Ashley and the Park Tavern team reaffirmed our choice. It's such a beautiful venue, and Ashley and her team are so organized and helpful. They made the planning a breeze. We got married in the tent at the end of August so it was warm, but the AC in the tent worked fine. The food was also delicious. Wouldn't change a thing about it--it was a perfect day!

I had my wedding here on July 10th, and it was perfect!! We had the ceremony in the Piedmont Room and the reception in the garden tent. It was beautiful and everything I had hoped for! The service was great and the food was delicious! The staff made sure my husband and I were taken care of the whole time. It was the best day ever! I highly recommend this venue!

Booking the Piedmont Room for our wedding was the best decision! We were looking for a venue that would be in a fun location for out of town guest but also elegant and classy, Piedmont Room fulfilled that. Ashley was so easy and accommodating to work with. She was always available to answer any questions. She made the process a breeze. The day of Josh and Lauren made sure everything went smoothly and was set up as discussed. Lauren at the Piedmont room was awesome. She was so professional and was very quick to respond to my emails. I enjoyed every meeting with her and I loved how flexible and accommodating the venue was. Everything about my wedding reception was just FABULOUS! The service was awesome, everyone raved about the specialty cocktail (The Yellowtail)! Whoever the girl was that was serving the wedding cake was great. We had 8 different flavors of cakes and she was super friendly explaining all the options to our guests! The wedding went so smoothly and I was so happy with how everything turned out.
