Many martial arts schools boast age and skill-level appropriate instruction. At Excel Martial Arts, we take that idea a step further with our Family Martial Arts classes. In this unique program, Jacksonville families are given the opportunity to train alongside each other, whether the participants are 6, 16, or 66.
This is an outstanding martial arts school with fantastic instructors. They go above and beyond to work with each student, build great relationships, and teach valuable skills. I would highly recommend Excel Taekwondo! They're extremely great with little ones. The instructors make learning and exercising fun.

I signed my son up for Tykwondo here a few months ago and have been so happy that I did since week 1. . He is 12 and absolutely loves the classes! I have noticed a dramatic improvement in his self esteem as well. The instructors are excellent and all the kids have a good time with them. Non of the kids seem to be mean to one another. . rather, they lift each other up and learn from one another. Also a reflection of outstanding leadership from the instructors! My son is also getting stronger and more physically fit. Highly recommend Excel Martial Arts!!

My son has been there almost a year. He is 10 and green belt rank. I have never seen him so passionate about something like he is about Taekwando. The instructors care so much about these kids! Just from our experience, they pour so much into their students to make sure they not only know their forms and sparring combinations but that they persevere during difficult times, respect everyone around them, and build the best character possible. They truly are like family.I highly recommend Excel Taekwando!!!

My daughter is 7 and has been at Excel since May and she is still just as excited to go to class as when we first started. I have seen her confidence blossom over this short period of time and it’s all thanks to the wonderful atmosphere that these amazing instructors create. All of the instructors are so patient, kind and beyond helpful. You can tell they love what they do. I highly recommend Excel Martial Arts!

As any parent would, I have been trying to unplug my child as often as possible. It’s far from easy to get him interested in anything not gaming related or device driven. He has Asperger’s which makes it that much harder to de-device him. I called and spoke with the owner, and asked if they had experience with special needs children. They said yes and offered to let him come test the waters and see how it went. I was extremely impressed with how much they listened, and took my description of his quirks and triggers, and implemented that immediately into a program that he now loves. They are
