I’ve used First Point Insurance for a couple of years now, both for my own personal car insurance and home contents insurance but also through my work with Urban Automotive as a recommended insurance provider to my customers.
Whenever I have to change any details or renew a policy, the First Point representative who is appointed to me is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Feedback from Urban customers is also very good, not only for the way the enquiry is handled but with the competitive pricing for bespoke, luxury vehicles.

I called up and bought a car insurance policy from First Point. They did not inform me that they are charging me 80 GBP fee during the call. I only discovered the fee when I requested to cancel the policy within the 14 days cooling off period. They refused to refund the fees even though they did not disclose about the fees when I bought the policy. In addition, they were extremely rude and pushy when I brought up the issue. I felt the main issue here is the lack of honesty and integrity, and the lack of desire to treat customer fairly.

I have been using First Point for motor insurance on 2 cars for 15 years or so. Very happy with their professional and friendly service. They research the market for me at renewal and frequently find a better deal each year. Quite rightly, they take a fee for this service, but it is itemised on the invoice and only adds a small amount to an annual policy. For that, I get peace of mind that I have a policy that meets my needs and is good value with very little effort required on my part. They are proactive in alerting me to the renewal date and starting their search for the best policy for me.

Searched online extensively for an imported car insurance and it wasn’t a good experience but fortunately found M/s. First Point Insurance. They provided a very competitive quote compared to competitors.
