Hello, my name is Troy Booher and I am happy to welcome you to our site. I am the proud owner of Mountain View Modular and General Contracting which is located in Alexandria, Pennsylvania. I grew up working hard with my father, who did a variety of jobs including building homes. After graduating high school, I joined the United States Navy and worked hard to become a Seabee.
Once I got out of the service, I worked as an equipment operator but continued doing construction on the side. In 1998, after the birth of our 3rd child, we built our first modular home. Soon after completion, we were approached by the modular home company to become dealers. We build modular homes, septic systems, retaining walls, additions, decks, patios, stonework and more.

One of the oldest crafts, stonework - or stone masonry has existed since the beginning of time. Craftsmen created tools, walls, homes, roads and decorations, using stone. At Mountain View Modular and General Contractor, we continue this tradition. Whether you want to turn a basic facade into a work of art or need a retaining wall built, we have the skills and the tools to get the job done!

Outdoor coal boilers are safe! Sometimes families pass on installing a fireplace, for fear of smoke and the possibility of chimney fires. Yet, at the same time, they initially hoped to save on heating by utilizing the fireplace more. Outdoor coal boilers typically sit 30 to 250 feet away from a home but offer the same cost-effective wood-burning process.

We had a deck built on our home, we found great value and craftsmanship with mountain view modular. And what really impressed us was the speed and responsiveness provided. Fantastic company for all excavation and construction needs.

Excellent service and a job well done. Once the planning stages were complete our home was put up in just a matter of hours. One day there was an empty lot and by evening there was an entire home ready to move into. The argument between stick built and modular doesn't make sense to me; I've watched the slow construction of stick built homes and was unsettled when I saw them sit thru rain and snow without a roof on them. I don't understand how someone could spend all of that money to have it soaking up water twisting and warping the lumber. These homes are built in massive climate controlled warehouses
