Owner and administrator Anita Whetstone started her caregiving career 26 years ago as a home care aide for a home care agency in Wisconsin Rapids. Later, she became a caregiver for her mother, who had Alzheimer's disease. Whetstone opened her first assisted living 20 years ago. Hilltop Affiliates Inc. has grown to include four assisted living facilities serving four client groups and a new independent living facility in the Wisconsin Rapids area.
