At a young age Dr. Mike used chiropractic care to increase performance while playing football in high school. Unfortunately during high school, he broke his neck and turned to his chiropractor, which kept him from surgery. This miracle lead him to move to Atlanta and attend Life University. At school he realized he wanted to do more than just chiropractic, and received an additional degree in physical therapy.
At Destin Chiropractic, we specialize in Chiropractic extremity adjusting. We check for dysfunction in all of the extremities with the utilization of muscle testing during every visit. Mechanoreceptors are embedded in the tissues surrounding joints, when these tissues get stretched by a misalignment of the joint, this activates an inhibition or weakening of the adjacent muscle.
Orthopedic massage is a type of massage therapy which is focused on treating painful conditions which affect the soft tissues of the body. Our massage therapist may integrate a range of techniques to treat these conditions, as every person's body is slightly different.
This type of massage may be recommended by a physician who wants a patient to pursue multiple treatment modalities, and people can also see an orthopedic massage therapist independently.Our therapist focuses on problems with the client's musculoskeletal system. They may release tight muscles, help to stretch shortened muscles and tendons, and decompress joints.

Dr. Mike is a cool, down to earth dude that works miracles. My back has been a problem for years, but after two sessions "buff Jesus" performed a miracle and resolved the issue. If you never did chiropractor stuff before I recommend Dr. Mike, as he will explain everything in an easy to understand way.

I recently moved to the Destin and was in need of a chiropractor in the area. I was told by two residents that Destin chiropractic- Dr. Mike was great. Well I couldn’t agree more. First off when he does his adjustment it’s not jerky or fast. Over the the years having adjustments by various chiropractors, I was extremely uncomfortable and downright fearful with adjusting my neck area. His neck adjustment is so damn smooth I barely notice its happening.. so I am able to relax and not tense up…With that said his entire whole body adjustment is the same- smooth..He starts at my feet and works

Friendly and great staff at Destin Chiropractic. Relaxing vibe when you walk in and lots of good vitamins/supplements to choose from. Dr. Mike treats each visit as a unique encounter instead of racking and cracking. I've learned so much from him! And his massage therapist, Claire, is amazing. Highly recommended.

Dr Mike is top notch. He gets to the root of the issue very quickly. You will leave feeling better immediately. Also your adjustments will last for a while before needing to go back. He doesn't make you dependent on him on a weekly basis for life. He truly helps you as opposed to looking at you as a dollar sign.

I wanted to try a new chiropractor and my friends kept saying how good DESTIN Chiropractic was, how they took their time with you, included stretching along with the adjustment, didn't want to "over-treat" you by having you come in 3+ times a week! This office is CLEAN! the staff is knowledgeable, and now they've added a massage therapist at a very fair price for a FULL HOUR massage! If you give them a try, you'll be hooked!
