Chris Peterson worked his way through college in Colorado & New Mexico as a carpenter, lead man, foreman, becoming a Licensed General Contractor in 1979. Coming to Red River for a construction project here in 1981, fell in love with the town and the area and moved here.
While building a cradle for his newborn son, Erik, the idea of expanding the construction company with a custom cabinet shop was conceived and the entire business incorporated under the one name "Erik's Workshop Inc." in 1987.The cabinet shop really helps us create the final project of your dreams.

We custom design your project specifically for you, your lot, your views, your living style and provide the blueprints for permitting & construction. The reason for being here is our beautiful mountain environment and having lived and built in Red River and the Enchanted Circle since 1981 we bring all those years of experience to creating a design that works to enhance your mountain living all seasons of the year.
The kitchens, bathrooms, built-ins are the functioning, working part of your home. We have extensive experience in designing and building those spaces to be beautiful, functional enhancements to your lives. Solid wood cabinetry specifically designed for you with doweled face frames, maple interiors, dovetailed solid poplar drawers, Blum hardware, all built here in Red River, custom finished, delivered and installed at very competitive pricing.
