From the beginning, Game Flash Events has provided opportunities for people to come together and participate in unique experiences that strengthen and celebrate connection. For arcade game themed events, it provides an opportunity for one-on-one conversation. We believe in stoking emotion through interaction, showcasing classic game stories visually, and allowing guests to be part of something that pulls at their inner childhood core.
Often called by different names - standard, upright, full standing, or traditional arcade, these are the most common machines and what most people envision when they imagine an arcade. Most stand about 6 feet tall and typically have eye-catching artwork advertising the game along the sides and top of the machine.
Unlike standard arcades, cocktail arcades are intended to be played while sitting. The design of a cocktail arcade makes it so that drinks can be set down on their glass top while playing; hence the name. Games are usually designed to accommodate two players sitting at opposite ends of the table. People can gather around to watch players compete against each other without blocking the view of the screen.
Simply put, no. They are the same. They are a smaller, more compact version of the standard arcade. They are often called cabaret arcades, mini arcades, or version 2. Since these arcades are small, they are often used when space is limited. These cabaret arcades are brand new. Each cabaret arcade has been upgraded to a multicade and offers several game choices on each machine.

Nick, Travis, and other staff members made it a memorable night with their photobooth and props.
If you check out their website, you'll see a grand selection in how you want your photobooth to set up. There's a lot to pick from and it's a great thing as they can work with your event by being outdoors or indoors. There's special effects they could do with their photos as well as customize the background to however you like.
Our company truly enjoyed what this company has to offer.

My company used these guys for a conference we hosted in Austin, and I can't say enough good things about them. They were attentive, intelligent, well spoken, and an overall pleasure to deal with. The games were awesome and a big hit for our conference attendees! If you want to add the feels to your event or party, then the retro games they have (and they have a massive selection) are just what you need!

I recently used Austin Retro Rentals for an event at a local brewery and highly recommend them. They were easy to work with. We started with a call to discuss details then moved into an in-person walk through of the space to formulate the best plan for the event. They took great care of our schedule, offering to load in a day early to avoid any delays/issues morning of the event. They staffed the event showing people how to use the variety of games and photo booth we had throughout the space. While in Austin last year in May, I attended a private event where this company had provided their services! I must say, this was the coolest experience ever! The fact that I could play games I used to play when I was younger was just amazing! The memories it brought back and the excitement was real! Basically what this company does is they set up private events and or you can invite them to your party to set up a gaming experience for your guests that they will never forget! The owner of the company Travis is very nice and will answer any questions you at have about his services.

Austin Retro Rentals was a pleasure to interact with on our event. They setup an LED House, Photobooth, and had more game choices than we could imagine.
Being the only kid on the block that grew up with a Sega Master System (rather than the far more popular Nintendo) I was pretty stoked to see ARR's selection of games that i had forgotten even existed.
Seriously, their collection is vaaaaaaaassst.
Travis, the owner, was there himself to set everything up and ensure it was exactly how we wanted it. His team arrived on time, were outgoing, and our guests loved it.
