Mystic Lake Casino Hotel

We were able to get in the room early. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable.
The blackjack dealers are always willing to help my husband who is in a wheelchair and a quadriplegic to feel included and offer to help him place his bets.
It is nice that we can take the shuttle over to their sister spot Little Six when we want.
The rooms are always nice.

Finding an employee with care and concern is like finding a needle in a haystack. I'm very disappointed in the casinos lack of consistency and manner of recouping a dealer over pay for $1.50 and pit supervisor calls our names out and interrupts the game to collect said total over pay $4 between myself and another player.
Many of the security and service employees aren't helpful and point to the next person to remedy. Not in a warm transfer kind of way but just deflect and leave you with no solution.

Its alright definitely a place a visit often but your club m ranking makes a huge difference on how your treated and perks you get. But overall its a fun place. Do not bring your children here there is no entertainment for them and tend to cause disturbances. Food is pretty good. The buffet is closed but is now an indoor smoking lounge. Overall its up to you what you wanna make it. May the odds be in your favor

This place is huge and the parking was hard to figure out. We saw a concert there and nobody wore a mask for a sold out concert. I also questioned if they where cleaning the slots. The food court was okay, I'm said they took out the buffet

For gods sake, Minnesota gambling regulators need to shut this place down for good. I don't even see how they can be classified as a casino, more like a charitable organization. CONSISTENTLY NON-EXISTENT SLOT PLAY!

Pretty building, clean, large, variety of machines in the casino. Most staff was great, but always a bad apple or two. Very tight slots....at least for our group.

I waffled on 3-4 stars for this place. It was clean, plenty of variety for slot machines even parking was nice. On the lower end the only other choice besides slot machines was a few electric roulette machines and a few live table games like poker.

So if you like to plop down and play the slots this is a great place to visit, if you are into other gambling options you may want to look elsewhere.

The hotel room was beautiful and clean. Slots paid out big time all night. We had a blast. This was hands down the best casino I've been to in awhile. Very impressive! Staff was friendly also. We will definitely be back!

TERRIBLE venue for a concert. Staff and security was horrible, the crowd environment was terrible, and they don't follow any safe protocols for COVID. I do not recommend at all.

It's a casino. What more can I say? Confusing layout, as expected, to keep you from easily leaving. Standard casino design.
Food is good, nothing to rave about, though.
Games change up too frequently. Just when you find one you like, they change it out the next time you're there.
No coin slots. I'm young, and not terribly old fashioned, but I miss coin slots. There was something about the physical coins clinking into the tray after a win or cashing out that was satisfying. If I wanted to spend money to win pieces of paper I'd go to a arcade and have more fun.

I frequently visit Mystic Lake to play slots and stay in their hotel often. I love the cleanliness and the machine options. I don't win very much but the overall experience is always fun. They have good food options as well, but they aren't open 24/7 like the casino itself is. Oh! And there's a Caribou Coffee at the hotel entrance, which is awesome!

It was my birthday stay at the hotel. My luck was high and the gambling was good. I'm giving 5 stars for service and free desert at the steak house. The food is excellent there. The place has gone downhill. Lots of little things really made my last trip just downright unpleasant. From the lack of valet parking, to a too warm indoor temperature, no drink service, reduced number of tables, increased table minimums, and the pit boss swapping a new dealer out as soon as the table started to get ahead (literally 15 minutes after he started), I'll never go back

My experience with management was awful. Unaccommodating and rude. Seems as though they know little to nothing about business.

I'll go out and give it 5 stars. It's my first time at this casino. I e been to a few. I like this one the most by far. Mostly the people working there are so nice. The people at the blackjack tables, the cashiers, and even the security was helping me with finding things are. Had a damn good time. It's smaller than most casinos, but would still go here over any other casino. My birthday is coming up in a month. I'm gonna stay at their hotel and give a review for that when the time comes. The casino should be proud with their employees. Looking forward to coming back.

You do not get bonuses in this casino. You go through a lot and do not even get comps. Horrid casino!

Ever since covid had hit this casino has been very up to date with all of there protocols. It's very clean and well managed and there's so many great promotions! This is by far my favorite casino in Minnesota. To top it off for my birthday I got a biter bday month promotion and got to spin a wheel and got free cash. I also won jackpot tonight on my favorite machine! Cheers to happy nights! Come to mystic

I used to enjoy playing at this casino, but since they remodeled we when from winning 40-60% of the time to 10-20% (on a good day).

This casino is nice to look at, but the games aren't as fun as they used to be.

Bonus games on 50c machines have become incredibly difficult to hit, and what consistently payed out $30-$40 per bonus now reliably returns under $10.


Based on our statistics sheet (we track), Mystic Lake is fun for the atmosphere, but the slots are pretty much a money pit.

My advise - Take the extra 20 minute drive and go to Treasure Island.

This review is specific to the music venue. I got Third Eye Blind tickets for New Year's Eve and was surprised that there was even a music venue at Mystic Lake. Venue was very clean, sound quality was great, and drinks were reasonably priced - about $7 for a mixed drink and $8 for a beer. It is definitely more of a sit down and enjoy music-type venue. Depending on the artist, I would definitely go back!

The gambling area was also nice, well lit and clean. Smoking is allowed indoors but it didn't really bother me since the venue is HUGE.

One night we found ourselves looking at the big lite up teepee in the sky and thought, lets do it! So we hopped into the prius and headed over to mystic for a night of gambeling.
I put a whole $10 into the roulette tables which I had won at before and walked out with no return. Then we went off to the bar for some liquid courage in the forum of cranberry vodka. Well the bar was actually pretty busy and we found ourselves hanging out for about 20 min before we ended up with a drink in hand. After about an hour, we were sucesfully able to order 3 drinks to perpare for the rest of our gambeling.
