Most farm stores have aluminum asphalt paint that generally has around 1 pound of aluminum per gallon. Sherwin William's best aluminum asphalt paint has 2 pounds of aluminum per gallon. We special order our aluminum asphalt paint and the product we use has 3 pounds of aluminum per gallon. That's twice as much as farm store brands and one third more than Sherwin Williams best.
At Al Porter Commercial Painting, Inc., we offer various systems for coatings on chemical tanks. The products stored in the tanks will determine our coating system. For example, If gas or diesel fuel is stored, we would propose a urethane enamel. If highly corrosive materials are stored, we would propose a two part system that would resist damage from chemical exposure.
