Creative Village is a 5 Star Licensed center providing a high quality early education program to the residents of Swannanoa, Black Mountain, and surrounding areas. We exceed enhanced standards set forth by the NC Division of Child Development, our professional staff is well educated, & we provide loving support to every child in our care.
It's very important to us to develop & maintain a valuable partnership with each child's family. Creative Village serves children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, and we are open from 6:30 am to 5:30pm. Services
Creative Village is accepting new students! Parents provide the breakfast and lunch. The center provides snack, milk, and juice. All children need to be here by 10:00 am. We do accept vouchers. We are so grateful for all the ways you've care for our son in the 2 years he spent at Creative Village. From the beginning you've always been one of the most caring and kind people I've encountered.
Please check WLOS for updates related to closings and delays at Creative Village during times of inclement weather. We do our best to give you as much notice as possible when we can't be open during normal business hours. We plan to update the posting our status on WLOS any time we expect a delayed opening or have to close the school early.
Hard to believe that its about time for our Usborne book fair again! Every year it gets better and better and I have no doubt that it is going to be amazing this year. I know that I will be getting books for my two girls : We would love to have you join us and stay tuned for more details as it gets closer!

My son started going to creative village couple of months ago when he was three years old. The school is surrounded by pine trees and the air smells amazing. Liz, the director and the teachers are nurturing and attentive. They are working hard on making sure kids are happy and staying safe in these critical times. They are not heavy on the process (which I appreciate), there is no overwhelming amount of emails, but I noticed right away my son knew different phrases and sang new songs! We travel a little more everyday from Asheville because we like it and highly recommend it.

Myself and the other co-owner are posting this in regards to the hateful review posted a month ago by a former parent. First, we wish no ill will towards this parent and simply wish her and her family the best. This parent had the child at the center over 6 months ago and during this time communication was constant between the family, the owners, and the teachers. The children were never neglected as said in the review and myself, other co-owner and teachers strive to ensure high quality childcare. Absolutely phenomenal daycare center! So glad we chose this place for our child. Teachers are kind and attentive and always make sure to tell me or my husband how our childs day has gone. Our infant son loves his teachers and some days I feel he'd rather stay with them than go home with me. Our family has felt comfortable and safe with this daycare since day one. Give it a chance and I promise you'll love it too!

My child has been in the infant room of Creative Village since she was just 7 weeks old and I could not be more satisfied with the care she receives as well as myself as her mother. She is always happy to go straight to her teachers every morning and is just as happy each day when I pick her up! We love our school! We enrolled taryn when he was 10m old, the girls love him as if he was there own! I got daily updates about him along with his daily paper of what they had done that day! He loves his teachers seeing him get excited when we pull up to school or he sees his teacher his smile just warms my heart because I know they care for him so well and make him feel loved! Edit: No, the last contact I had with you was on September 17th, when I initially emailed you all with my concerns, which I heard nothing back about until you all saw my review, in FEBRUARY 17th of this year (5 months later). And no, we did not respond to your email then because what is the point? You clearly only care about your ratings, and not how you treat the children in your care; for example, you called my review "slander and highly inaccurate" in public, even though in the email you eventually sent to me you all took all responsibility and said you "addressed" my concerns. My daughter has been going to Creative Village since she was 9 months old (currently 3.5 years) and I've had nothing but a positive experience! The staff is amazing and I have always had a good relationship with them, and I have never worried about how my daughter is because I know she's always in good hands. Everyone there is awesome and they've taught my daughter more than I ever could have if I were to be a stay at home mom.
