I was first introduced to cycling around 1989. I was a skinny high school freshman who pestered the local bike shop (Bill Curry's Cycling and Fitness) until they agreed to hire me. I started racing as a Junior shortly thereafter. In high school drafting class, the teacher agreed to let me draft bike frames and bike components.

The beauty of a custom, handbuilt bike is that it can be anything your heart desires. I use high quality butted steel tubing for my frames from suppliers such as Vari-wall, Colombus, and Dedaccai. I was due for a tune up and check out some kinks on my bike on my way through a coast to coast tour. Chris fit both my friend and me in that day, and took the time to address my concerns and answer all my questions with patience and respect. Can’t say enough good things about his little repair shop. I had a great experience with Chris at Boedie Cycles. I popped in halfway through my downhill day at big mountain and could not have been more pleased with my repair experience. Chris shifted his schedule to quickly address my break issues and an hour later I was back on the mountain. I would highly recommend coming here and know where my bike whitefish bike fixes will be in the future. Reasonable prices and great people.

I dropped my bike off at Boedie Cycles to get a tune up and have Chris check out some possible repairs: new chain, rear cassette, and brake pads. Chris was very helpful, informative, and fixed my bike the same day so I could use it for the weekend. Other places in town quoted me two weeks for a brake line flush. I have a full suspension bike that now rides better than it ever has thanks to Chris. I highly recommend his shop and work!
