NAS provides consulting and training services related to the asbestos, lead and mold industry. A few of the services we offer include hazardous building material inspections, AHERA Management Plans, preparation of abatement bid specifications, indoor air quality testing and training. NAS was founded by John Rehkopf in 2003.
After several years of working as a hazardous materials consultant with another company, John decided to move back to his hometown area in Michigan and offer environmental consulting services to Michigan based businesses, industries and organizations. Services
Northern Analytical Services provides a full range of environmental testing, consultation and abatement services to clients in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin and throughout the Midwest. We serve a wide range of clients facing complex environmental issues in educational, residential, industrial and commercial facilities.
NAS conducts building inspections and writes Management Plans in accordance with the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) for our clients. We also conduct the required 3-year re-inspections and periodic surveys for existing management plans. Our reports are easy to read and provide all of the required information to allow our clients to successfully manage their asbestos containing materials.
NAS can perform building inspections to document the presence of lead based paints. Finished surfaces are tested to determine if lead is present. Documentation of each test is included in our report that shows the quantity and location of each tested surface. This information is then used to make recommendations to our clients with regards of how to safely manage their facility in respect to lead based paint.
To properly treat mold infested areas, NAS's hygienists conduct building investigations to locate potential areas of concern. We work with our clients to determine potential concerns and to develop a sampling and/or an mold abatement strategy. Our hygienists can collect air and bulk samples to assist with locating and identifying the presence of mold.
