Out of touch with current and best practices, treatment approaches or ethical principles. Would not recommend her to anyone. She lacks true compassion and understanding that you would hope from a therapist and has been reported to her practicing board for ethical misconduct. Please check out other reviews, she has hurt many people in their difficult times and honestly should not be practicing in this field.

I would recommend Kathy, and have done so numerous times to friends. Kathy is compassionate, clear, direct and does not just "hmmm" you when you say something. Kathy has amazing insight, humor and great communicative visuals that have given me many "ah huh" moments. If you want results, to really understand and learn about yourself, even if that is hard, Kathy definitely has my recommendation.

Claimed in initial phone calls to accept our insurance. I communicated clearly that it was essential for us to have a counselor that accepts our insurance as services were cost prohibitive and likely long term. After multiple sessions she insisted on 100% out of pocket payment, claiming there was no way for her to bill insurance for our sessions. She was aware we had an obligation for counseling via court order and often recommends her colleagues and bolsters her personal connections serving her own interests vs client centered care. She isn’t current or ethical in her practice. Was neither in
