Due to the overwhelming demand for bikes, our shop no longer has product to sell. Our suppliers now tell us it may be late spring or summer before the supply chain is going again.
We are needing funds to keep the day to day cost from building, which it is now doing. These guys are great. Helpful, enthusiastic, knowledgeable. They brought by Klein mountain back back to life after it collected dust for 12 years. Full tune up and lots of extras. I thought the price was fair and reasonable for the amount of work they did. It rides, shifts etc. like new and they cleaned everything giving it back to me in immaculate condition.....less the few scratches I've put on it. It took a few weeks as they are busy in the summer but it was well worth the wait. Great shop.

Bought bike and had it fixed (tire repair, chain replacement) for over two years. Good service and friendly. I was hit by a car and car owner indicated that he knew Elite. When I took the bike in I asked that they go over it for damages. They failed to tell me that the crank, fender and seat were damaged. The fender repair was rubbing against my tire as soon as i left the store and then it fell off a couple weeks later. When I contacted another dealer they said that the crank damage indicated a large impact and that because the bike was aluminum, it was "totaled" and should not be ridden

I wanted to let all the local cyclers in the East Texas area know about the great customer service I received at Elite Bikes. Although a few weeks ago it started out as a very rocky experience it in did up quite good. The owner named , Sport, and I were talking about taking an older road bicycle and trading it for a hybrid model for my wife. He took the bike and was able to sell it in a couple days. He had me go to the Specialized website and pick out a bike. When I came to pick up the new bike he told me that I owed several hundred dollars,which was quite surprising to me since my understanding

My husband doesn't do reviews but I think it's important to let others know how a local business is performing. He dropped his bike off last week at 10 am (right when they opened) for a simple adjustment. Since we are from Chandler, we wanted to wait for it rather than make another trip back. He was told it would be two hours and he would get a call. We ran errands around town and didn't hear back. We drove back over to the shop and now he was told it wouldn't be ready until closing time! What gives?? Don't lie to your customers. Not good. They did end up pulling his bike

The problem with getting new tires for my bike for Christmas was trying to install them for the first time before they're broken in. I have a few dings on my knuckles and one punctured bike tube to prove it. Elite Bicycles to the rescue! They installed them (even pointed out a defect in one tire and hooked me up with one they had in stock), installed my new Shimano pedals and sized my cleats.

Very nice people, just not really good judges of customers wants and needs. I went in with an older road bike and asked for "really cheap rims and tires" I specifically said "the cheapest you've got" Well I was quoted 350. I couldn't help but laugh. That was probably more then 4 times the value of my bike.
My second gripe was they had nothing in stock. Every option I considered had to be ordered. The guy behind the counter asked if I wanted to order some parts for my bike. I said no. He looked shocked. I go into a bike shop to buy parts and receive them that day.

The store is clean, and the selection of in-stock parts is fine. The staff really tries to help you when you walk in, although they are more 'gnarly bicycle dudes' than professionals. I had been wanting to get my first 29er for a while, went in and a salesperson helped me pick one out. It was not in stock. I ordered the bike and some accessories I wanted installed (pedals, seatpost, seat, bars, lights and I wanted it converted to tubeless with slime). I paid, and was told it would be a week,

I went into this shop for the first time 2 days ago. I brought in my rear wheel because the free hub was broken. The guy looked at it came back out with another one in hand he had laying around the shop. Mine was beyond repair so he gave me another one that was used. I offered to pay but he refused the money. I asked what he would charge to install this free part, and he said 20 dollars. I came in to pick it up today, and the bill was 15 dollars .Needless to say I was impressed with the work, and customer service. They have definitely earned a new customer.

Knowledgeable staff, excellent service, fair prices. The only guys between Dallas and Shreveport that I will allow to touch my bike.
Special orders? No problem.
The owner, Sport, went out of his way to fix one of my racing wheels on short notice while I waited because I needed it for an event. A pro shop in a small city that won't rip you off. If you're a serious rider, this shop deserves your support.

Great service! I arrived in the Tyler area, bike in tow, only to find that my front tire had been melted by my exhaust pipe. I brought my bike into Elite, where one of the employees offered to replace it with the tire of his personal bike. I ride a 650b wheel size, so I was dead in the water otherwise. The rest of the staff are just as great. They are incredibly friendly and clearly will go out of their way to help. They turned around what was shaping up to be a disastrous weekend. I'll definitely return next time I'm in Tyler.
