During the inflammation phase our therapeutic goals are to reduce your pain and inflammation. The importance of the repair phase of healing is to receive physical medicine such as chiropractic treatment to help the injured tissue return to normal in all three joint ranges of motion. The last phase of healing requires therapy to increase the injured tissue strength and elasticity.
Minor trauma are generally repetitive activities which individually do not cause back pain. However when minor trauma over time eventually starts to cause significant wear and tear producing back pain. Injuries to these structures in the back will cause pain which results in your bodies response to close down or tighten the area and your body does this by causing muscle tension or spasms.
The most common cause of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is from a repetitive motion of the wrist. Most typically the motion occurs while the angle of the wrist if either out of neutral position, either in flexion or extension. Repetative finger and hand movement cause irritaiton of the median nerve which causes Carpal Tunnel Syndrome which includes symptoms such as wrist pain, burning tingling or numbness in the hand.

Minor traumas are typically non noticeable micro-traumas which add up over time. A few examples of minor traumas are repetitive injuries associated with abnormal positions with repetitive motion. When either trauma exists it will most likely involve one of three tissues in the neck. The most commonly injured tissues causing neck pain are the spinal disc, the joints of the spine or pinching of the spinal nerve.
