We have used Tulip Cremation twice in the past few years for our mothers. Now we are set up for them to handle our uncle's cremation when that service might be needed. There were so many things about Tulip that we loved. We loved their great customer service, their reasonable price, the fact that I could reserve that price with a credit card for a later time, and many other small and large things. They were timely, sent Mom's remains in a nice box, and they returned Mom's ring to me that we could not get off her finger even though they didn't have to since I had not requested it. I appreciate the kindness with which we were treated. Being able to do everything online was so much easier. I was worried about how things would be handled when it came time to pick up my father's ashes. But every thing was handled so delicately and with such dignity. The urn was in a beautiful blue velvet pouch nestled in a gift bag. The timeliness of the entire process was also very impressive.

I was very pleased with Tulip Cremation. I've heard of such scandals and overselling when it comes to funeral/cremation services. I was initially skeptical of how quickly credit card information was requested online, but after further research and speaking to one of their associates, I felt confident using them. The whole process was seamless, and we got updates along the way with easy contact information should a question arise. If you are looking for basic cremation services, strongly consider using Tulip.

All tulip staff that helped me through this very difficult time were professional and compassionate. I was not pleased with the way the two gentlemen handled my mother when they came to pick her up. They did not seem very organized. My mother was placed inside of a honda van very abruptly. I was afraid to say anything at the time because I thought that treatment would continues to spite me for complaining. I just prayed every day she would be handled with TLC. All other staff specifically Brianna were very kind and I was appreciative.

I just wanted to come on here to say that Tulip is amazing. Once I got the call that our loved one would be passing soon. I scrambled frantically to find a place to take care of arrangements. I was recommended this place by another place. Once I called them. I got a quote and they explained entire process to me. I went and called family for info. Plugged it all in online. I provided a card that was put into system and not charged until the time came. Tulip made everything so much easier. They kept in constant contact via Email and returned calls promptly. I can't say enough about these people. They were top notch and explained everything from the beginning and got everything ready. From the initial call taker to the gentlemen that came to pick up my fathers body. These wonderful people are awesome. Whitney, Maggie, all were exceptional and kind and sensitive. I wanted to prepare everything for my family so they wouldn't need to worry about anything, so I did some research and I found this through Google search and reading up on the procedures. I spoke with a lady name (Thrasha) don't know if spelling is correct, but after speaking with her she told me that if I pay an extra 500 dollars it would assure that if I died in another state they would bring my body back to California to be creamated. Tulip helped with my Moms remains after her death, and the experience couldn't have gone better. Their process from initial inquiry to death certificates being delivered (the final step), couldn't have been handled more professionally, or with more care. They were thorough and kind and even submitted a permit for her ashes to be spread in the county I mentioned in the application process, which I wasn't aware was part of the services provided. Also, as you did not address my concerns about your terrible terrible answering service that you use, I will continue to assume that it is an attempt to avoid accountability.
I understand if the service is utilized after hours, but there was never a time where this terrible awful answering service WASNT in place.

I did get the service I needed by kind, efficient and thoughtful staff members but Myra Parker Herrera is not one of them. She is terrible. If you get her on the phone, hang up and call back until you get someone else. It isn't easy living in Chicago and dealing with a Cremation service 2,000 miles away when a family member passes in another City. Thanks for nothing Myra Parker Herrera.

Death of a loved one is extremely hard...especially during this pandemic! Tulip showed up very quickly & were very professional when my mother passed at 1:11 am.(they were there by 3:45) The gentlemen who handled my mother did a great job & the personnel that I spoke with were very professional & helpful in getting everything taken care of. Also the price was very reasonable & I liked the fact that I was able to fill out everything on line...all in all the process was very quick with no issues. As it was a Saturday, I spoke to their answering service, and received a call from Meshell shortly thereafter.
She led me through the entire process, and answered all my questions, A-Z.
As the days unfolded, Tulip Care notified me of the status of my husband's remains at every step, til he finally made his way home to me.
I cannot recommend them more highly.

I had never arranged for a cremation so I had no idea where to start. I came across Tulip on a Google search then checked them here on Yelp. The reviews seemed positive so I gave them a call. From the very first moment I spoke with a representative I had a good feeling about them. The people with whom I spoke were knowledgeable, polite, and very considerate of me and my situation.

I found Tulip Cremation on Yelp and am so glad I did. From the initial contact through receipt of the remains everything was handled with care and professionalism. When a loved one passes, it's extremely stressful and you have a million things to coordinate. It was nice to have an organization like Tulip handle the most sensitive part so well.
You have the initial contact pay with a credit card, then sign all documents on line. Easy peasy. My mother was in hospice so we knew the end was coming, just didn't know when. Hooked up the hospice people with Tulip so they knew who to call

At the time I needed Tulip's services a few weeks ago, the price was only $650 for a basic cremation with no extras. Seems that most other low-cost cremation services run $1000 and up.
The website process with e-signing was a breeze, the people I talked to were all responsive and caring, and I really appreciated the email updates with each step of the process.
