Today was my first visit to this new dental group, upon arrival it was not easy finding parking I had to wait over 5 minutes there is minimal parking available. Once I checked in I waited over an hour for x-rays and a consultation, the doctor was very welcoming and polite. As far as staff is concerned yessenia the woman in the front desk was absolutely rude and unprofessional.

I went in about a month ago and I was charged for a work that was half done(because I only wanted half of it done and I have told them this before) so I asked for my refund on half of the work. I was told "wait 7-10 business days and you'll get it." And now a MONTH later they come out with "you were told that we needed your card for the refund." I was never told this! The dentist there are awesome but the front desk and the person dealing with the money are scammers. I will be changing dentist. This is unacceptable! A WHOLE MONTH and more than 5 phone calls later I get

DON'T COME HERE. This place only wants your hard earned money. To begin with the manger, Jackie, and the entire front office are very rude and unprofessional. I went in for x-rays and consultation as cash paying patient. Not only did we wait 50 minutes past the allotted appointment time but I left thinking I had 3 cavities and with an estimate of over $2000.
They refuse to send me a copy of my x-rays even after signing a release form. Through HIPPA I have the right to my x-rays and they just didn't want to release them. But now it makes sense why they didn't want to. I went for

Only giving them one stars because the actual dentist were thorough in explaining my teeth to me. But I give them 0 stars in customer service. They tried to hustle me, they actually did. I had great insurance and was surprised when they told me I still had to pay out of pocket. I paid a portion and when I went back for my for my next cavity filling, once I asked for an itemized receipt they seemed to completely discard my balance. And refused to give me an itemized receipt for what I had already paid for. Lol they are SKETCHY it wasn't until I visited another dentist that they told me how

I made an appointment for Thursday on a Monday. I specifically asked the Dental Assistant (Office Person?) to PLEASE verify my insurance as this was my first time visiting the dentist and I've had issues in the past with insurance coverage. She assured me that "the person who does that" will take care of it.
We confirmed my appointment on Wednesday, the day before and I again asked "Did you confirm my insurance?" She said she would check, and then called me back and said to finish verification they needed my member number and my birthday. I provided both and I was assured

This place definitely needs to be shut down or someone needs take legal action . Went in to get a crown and didn't even clean my molar correctly before I got the crown and my molar completely rotten and had to go to another dentist and got it taken out . Before I went to the other dentist I asked them to fix it and I was told it was my fault . This place is disgusting . No compassion towards their patients

Shady and they totally ignore you when they feel like it. I came in a couple days ago and they kept me waiting for a long time. They are rude when you say you will go to another dentist instead, and insult your other choice. Their prices are too expensive too for the kind of " not sevice" they provide. I would suggest to look else where.

Decided to try this dentist after my aunt's great experience here and staff was incredibly friendly, felt like I've known them for years! My wisdom tooth was really bothering me, I was in horrible pain for three days, I asked if it was possible to get it out the same day and 3 hours later, my wisdom tooth was out and on my way home. The surgeon is AMAZING! I didn't feel a thing! I will definitely be coming back for my future dental work!

I have been coming to Acevedo dental group for years and I couldn't be happier. I used to dread going to the dentist but I going multiple times a year and it's great. The office staff is very professional and friendly. The actual office is really nice and clean. I am moving to San Diego soon but I will continue to come here for my dental needs.

I find it surprising when you have total opposite end of the spectrum's in terms of stars. It's either you like them or you don't. Unfortunately, for me its a don't. I came here a few years ago after some salesman with nice straight and super white teeth came to our hospital to sell a teeth whitening special to staff members. First of all, I'm surprised our hospital even allow them to come in to sell products. Anyway, I got tricked into buying the $60 package with free check-up and the take home teeth whitening kit.

Since I was a little kid, I hated the dentist. Some of my worst memories come from dental offices. It is because of the amazing people at Acevedo Dental Group that I can bear going to the dentist as an adult today :) They are amazing in every way, make me feel comfortable and take the time to provide not just amazing service, but really, really incredible support on a personal level. The staff is helpful, the wait times are minimal, and the doctor's are super experienced and knowledgable.
