Overpriced and Very rude Employee.
It’s in the neighborhood And I would occasionally go to get supplies or ship packages. Just recently I dropped a package off and was out of my car for less than 10 seconds to handover a package to a friend ship before an older angry Hispanic starting yelling at me not to park there. So unnecessary… if this is how you treat your customers, they should be shut down. Unreal!

I used to shop at this store everytime I moved spent thousands of dollars here. One of the sales guys approached me about wearing a mask even after I explained to him that I health exempted and in addition the mask Mandate although illegal according to California state constitution , federal constitution , Hippa and Ada . I put the sales guy on notice and he refused me service . Such a shame as am Currently a 5k square foot home that needed several boxes , I'm sure I would have spent $1000 or more as a paying and faithful customer. But since he refused me service and doesn't know law

All the prices are marked up (for example, $30+ for 5 boxes that would be $15 elsewhere), they keep limited hours versus other stores, they're often out of stock on basic items, the staff is rude, and they don't accept any returns. The staff blames management if there's an issue. Want to call management instead? Oh sorry, they won't answer the phone. Don't waste your time or money here.

Used this place when I moved out of LA. Really extensive options in terms of box types and the guys there were very helpful. Only issue I had was the pricing. It's pretty expensive to buy all your boxes here for a big move. The foam rolls and bubble wrap were also pretty insanely expensive for the amount they give you. It's in a very convenient location so I went there over driving far, but next time I might try and do more research to find a cheaper option.

I've been using The Box Depot for the last 7 years for my mailbox service and shipping needs. Alfredo is one of my favorite employees there. Every time I come in for a package, he sees me and welcomes me to the store by name. If the store isn't too busy, he gets my package ready before I even get to the main counter.
I love that they send a text message and email informing me of mail and packages arriving. The convenience of that added perk, saves me trouble of coming in when there's no mail. Overall the staff is very knowledgeable about proper shipping setup, especially artwork

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL AND ACT LIKE THEY ARE DOING YOU A FAVOR. I walked in and the first employee asked another employee if he can help me. It went back and forth between the two and first employee rolled his eyes and finally approached the counter. Not a single word of hello or can I help you. His irritation with another employee was clearly shown on his face and attitude. He was abrupt and very rude. He should have stayed in the back and not be in front of customers.

I needed to have a valuable vase packed quickly. Alfredo immediately
started packing the vase. I watched as he packed and was extremely impressed with the quality of his packing. He double boxed the vase with a 2" styrofoam liner on all sides. I know the vase will arrive safely to it's destination. Alfredo at The Box Depot did a great job.

Anyone interested in learning where they can get boxes almost 1/2 the price of The Box Dept? The order department is open 24/7 and the delivery is next day! Direct message me for now, I will be adding the name and contact information to this YELP POST later.

Made a reservation for a uhaul truck days in advance. Was supposed to pick up the truck outside of business hours and sign in the app to pick up the truck. I have the confirmation and arrived on the lot. I signed in the app and the app said that the truck was not reserved for me. They never notified me that they can’t get the truck for me. Waste of my time and money.

Huge overcharge! Don't give them a credit card, it's a license for them to charge whatever they want. They charged us $400 to send a mini electric toy car 2 states over, which is 2x the value of the product. They did not run anything by us and lied about getting our approval before shipping. Do not ship with these people.
