Tina Tom is a professional makeup artist who started her training with Chanel Beauty as a beauty advisor and eventually became a Chanel artist. She has over 8 years of makeup artistry experience, and has worked on over 250 weddings. Tina's commitment to put her clients' best faces forward by bringing out their beauty from within is a guiding principle for every person that sits on her makeup chair.
We are a mobile team and will travel to you. There is no fee associated with this, provided that you are less than 25 miles away from Alhambra. If your venue is farther than 25 miles, there is a charge of $1.00/mile. You should book a bridal makeup preview 6-8 months before your wedding. Please note that booking a preview does not guarantee reservation for your wedding day.

I decided to get my makeup done by Tina to take some professional headshots. She did an amazing job with giving me a natural look. I was shocked at my transformation and was really glad that I decided to go to her instead of attempting g to do my makeup on my own (because honestly I don't know what I'm doing half the time LOL). She was really gentle and I had a lot of fun. Overall the experience was amazing and I will not hesitate to go to her again the next time I need a fairy godmother.

Tina is an amazing make up artist. She did both hair and make up for my engagement ceremony and was willing to accomodate early morning appointment. Her rate is also reasonable compared to others. I enjoyed talking to her during the session. I love her work and her sense of humor. I got many compliments on my make up and hair from friends and family. I will definitely book her again for another event.

Tina is so friendly and professional. She always responded to my emails quickly and answered all my questions. At my hair/makeup trial, I really felt like she listened to me to make sure my wedding look would be perfect. Also, very reasonable prices!
On my wedding day, she, Jill, and Melanie were able to get me, eight bridesmaids, two flower girls, MOB, and MOG ready within the allotted time frame and everyone LOVED their looks! They did such an incredible job working with the flower girls, and I know the girls had such a fun experience. Highly recommend

I found her on Yelp. Professional MUA. Tina responds to my request quickly and clearly. Very reasonable price as well. Her work is well done. I'm like a new person with natural look and not dramatic with heavy makeup. I did twice with her. First time for engagement photos, and the last minute for wedding banquet. Thanks God she helped me out for the banquet day (Booking less than 24 hrs). Both looks were perfect and lasted until the end without any touch up.

Loved my makeup and hair by Tina! I had my engagement shoot today and I was so impressed with how everything turned out :)
Tina was so professional and welcoming when I met her. She was friendly and loved her energy! It's so important to find someone who listens to you and Tina sure did that! She made sure I was completely satisfied with how I looked by asking me questions and she really took the time to make me look flawless! My makeup is still on point after sweating and being at the beach (after 9 hours) I don't want to take my makeup off lol

Tina was more than accommodating for our upcoming wedding. My wife's English is limited but even she was able to tell me that Tina and her team were the nicest people ever. They did an awesome job with hair and make up with the bride, bridal party, and mother. I wanted to be glamorous and get pampered so I found Tina on here and decided to have her do my hair and makeup for a wedding I was going to attend. Before we even met, I casually mentioned how I was going bald and she even covered up my scalp to look like I have more hair. She also noticed a white hair and got it out so it wouldn't look out of place. Even though I moisturized beforehand, Tina really prepped my face to make sure it would be in the best state possible for the makeup application. To top it all off, she gave my eyebrows a new and better shape! I cannot thank her enough for this

Booked Tina for special occasion makeup and hair. She was very quick to respond with a quote via text to answer any questions. Once confirmed, she text me her address to meet at her studio/house based in the San Gabriel Valley area. Very easy process to book her.

When I contacted her for a quote, she responded quickly through email, with a clear and detailed quote. I decided to do a trial with her at her location. Finding a makeup and hairstylist for your wedding day isn't always the easiest find unless you already know who want to go with. And for most gals that don't wear much makeup, where do you start? If you plan on doing a HMU trial (which you should always) you don't want to go over your budget just to try out a few people. So you really have to pick the right team for a trial.
After reaching out to 3 HMU teams, I decided to go with Tina Tom makeup team. She was at a reasonable price, location was fair (she does travel to you if needed), and of course, her work was the final factor

Never fear, Tina is here! This is a late review, but... I contacted Tina for an impromptu make up session. Our communication was quick and easy via text message and email.

The wedding was on a Sunday around 3pm and she was able to respond quickly and let me know she was available that day. As the wedding drew closer, new details emerged and I almost thought I wouldn't be able to get my makeup done after all! Luckily
