Working out of the basement of their Williamsport home, Jim and Donna Snyder started a modest pest control company in 1977. Jim's passion for terminating pests and Donna's customer service skills made a match that lasted many years. Snyder's Exterminating focused on pest control in the local area. Slowly it grew and more service technicians were added.
Jim still provided his hands on service to the customer base. Successful personal service caused the company to grow out of the basement and into an office in Williamsport. Starting in 2010, Jim passed his flashlight to his son, Randy. Jim's philosophy for customer service and satisfaction has been instilled in his son and the business.

Snyder's is licensed to provide a Wood Destroying Insect Inspection Report in Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. When infestation is found, the property will be graphed and an estimate submitted. Termites, powder post beetles or woodborers, Snyder's will treat the infestation with the most current methods using the best insecticides or termicidies and provide a warranty for the work.
