Services
Renovia Signature Massage is a firm and nurturing customized massage that aims to relax your body muscles with medium-light massage strokes. Please work with our therapists to identify those areas of focus and we will do the rest. The following muscle groups are given special attention: We designed a massage protocol to help with the aches and pains associated with excessive driving-neck, shoulders, lower back and calves.
We are golfers. This massage protocol was designed for quick recovery following a round of golf. The massage starts with pressure point technics applied to the ankle/calf area, the hips and the I-bands, the lower back and shoulders/neck. This is followed by a series of stretches and deep tissue massage of the calves, lower back, neck and shoulders.
This massage protocol was designed for long-distance cyclists with fatigued bodies and sore muscles. Our casual cyclists have found that this massage allows for quicker recovery so they can get back on the bike the next day. The massage therapist focuses on the strained muscle groups in the calf, quad, lower back and hip areas as well as the muscle groups impacted by the cyclist's body position-neck, shoulders, forearms and wrists.
We developed this protocol with input from software coders. There is an intense focus on the neck, arms and shoulders prior to moving to the lower back for pain relief and the lower body to increase blood flow. This protocol uses acupressure, stretching and deep tissue techniques to rebalance the muscle groups impacted by repetitive motion activity.
While the feet are the focus, this is a full body, clothes on massage given at your pressure. Our foot exfoliation process includes application of an exfoliation compound to remove dead or damaged skin. We then apply a masking solution to cleanse the pores and stimulate circulation. The result is healthier, smoother, and well toned skin.

I like this place and the best one in Marin that is a real full body and treatment massage. I had car accident 2 years ago. My neck and lower back are pain everyday. My friend told me to go Renovia, I ask the receptionist what she would recommended to me, she recommended me to get a 90 minute massage with hot stone. The therapist name was Lucy. I must say she was Amazing! She Reduced my muscle pain! I will come back soon.

As a certified massage therapist myself (CAMTC# 76577) I like getting massages with my girlfriend who is also a cmt, and pampering ourselves from time to time. I know what it’s like to work at a spa, and I know that sometimes there’s one or two bad apple. Today I think I found Renovia’s bad apple. My girlfriend’s experience wasn’t as bad, but mine completely disregarded my “medium” pressure request on the intake form. Took my Bf here for a birthday treat, we both are CMTs so we enjoy going places often to get massages as our bodies need it. We understand that not every therapist has the same quality of touch as others, or perhaps a has bad day, or bad training, whatever it is we understand things happen. My therapist was pretty decent, however his was completely off. Pulling hair, Jabbing deep into the tissue, throwing(!!) The hot towels onto the body. It was a complete mess. He left a review and,we thought, was the end of it. However the owner decides to call, not to resolve the situation, but to threaten him

Hi! I am a bit late for writing this review because I have been a member of Renovia since mid 2020 already. However, it is a pleasure for me to write it. I have enjoyed every single massages (more than 25) that I have received. Angela is calm, friendly and professional at the reception desk. I have received massages from the following massage therapists (Mary, Binbin, Tina, Wendy and Lucy). They are all amazing (5-stars)!!! For 9 months in a row at the time of this review, Lucy has been giving me massages. I have started with one massage per month, then once per week, then sometime twice per week

I went to Renovia in Novato for a 70-min deep tissue massage, which cost $80. The masseuse was fine and the massage was satisfactory. However, when I stopped by the front desk to leave a $20 cash tip, the woman at the front desk said that I should give a bigger tip because my masseuse worked so hard on me that her thumbs were sore. I asked her how much she suggested, and she replied that I should leave "$20 or at least $10." So I added another $10 for a total tip of $30.
I found this request extremely rude and unnecessary. My original tip of $20 was already more than the standard 20

I love Renovia! I started out getting just foot massages, but lately have been treating myself to their signature massages or hot stone. I work at a spa in Southern Marin, but this is my go to place for massage close to home. Price is right, super clean, and talented staff. I usually see Bin Bin and she's is great, I have also seen Mary who is equally wonderful. Please support this business!

With over 20 years of back pain from a car accident and later back surgery, I've visited many massage locations. Almost seeing one every other week, it's been hard with this current pandemic and it has been over 4 months since I have had one. With this and a decline in working out, my new chiropractor visits have helped, but definitely not the same.
That being said, I have probably had the BEST massage EVER at this location!! To comply with safety, its 100% outdoors and I was the only client. Somewhat scared with female masseuse because they either lack the arm strength to even notice

Just had a great massage at Renovia. I had been waiting and waiting for them to reopen and was finally saw that they are doing outdoor massage on their completely private patio.
Had my temperature checked before the treatment and the masseuse was wearing a mask. You can check their website for other safety precautions they are taking.
Quality of the massage was comparable to what I have had before here and I have been coming here almost since they opened a few years ago.
They don't do any face work right now due to Covid precautions, but all the work on my back and shoulders and legs were

I come here regularly for a deep tissue massage. If you’re looking for a high end ultra luxury spa, this isn’t it. This is where I go when I need a REAL massage, not just someone rubbing lavender oil on my back. You can get aromatherapy and essential oils included in your massage if you want them. I just like the fact that I just like the fact that when I leave I feel relief from all my aches and pains. Great place.

First time here, and will definitely be back!! Tina did an amazing job and my knots were totally gone. I was very happy with my experience. My only suggestion would be to make the check in process more simple or ask me the "area" questions over the phone. If there had been another client in the waiting room I would have been uncomfortable answering questions. Overall it was a great visit!!!!!!

I tried this place for a deep tissue massage and booked the 90 min. I explained to the masseuse (term loosely applied) that my left ankle and calf has a torn tendon and be careful in that area. She wanted to confirm the area and held my RIGHT ankle...
The massage started with the slathering of some sort of perfumed oil, with the requisite pressure, etc.
The room was massively overheated,stuffy and not particularly welcoming.During the face down portion of the experience my sinuses slammed shut like steel plates. The remainder of the back "massage" was done with me resting on my elbows

The price was right. $65 for 70 minutes. The massage began with an over the sheet massage. I like strong pressure. I got it, but I don't like knuckles? elbow? whatever it was directly on my spine. It was painful. I asked for softer pressure and she complied. I was having trouble with my left hip. I had a full butt cheek massage. Weird, but my hip doesn't hurt anymore. In an attempt to apply firm forearm pressure, Jenny came up on table, straddled me and it was a complete fix for any shoulder

I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with a back injury, so I stopped here on my way home to get some relief. The place is clean and professional looking, but I am not sure this is the place to go if you have an injury. The receptionist gave me a drawing and asked me to mark the sensitive parts of my body (I found that to be a little strange).

Jenny was my massage therapist, she was quiet (which I appreciated), she used the right pressure for massaging my flared up body (lupus/fibromyalgia) and about forty minutes in, she went and got hot stones to use on me.
The entire staff is friendly.
I'm big on hands and feet as well as chest and front of body being massaged ... that didn't happen. I little fist to the foot, and some snapping of my fingers between hers for the hands.

I purchased a massage for my girlfriend to enjoy on her birthday recently. Later that evening when she told me about her experience at Renovia I felt horrible for choosing this place for her to attempt to have… a relaxing day. She stated the room was freezing cold the entire time. But worst of all she developed a severe rash on most of her body afterwards, presumably from either something in the oil that was used or possibly uncleanly sheets on the table. Her dermatologist treated the rash luckily but the whole experience ruined her birthday and caused a serious medical problem for her.
