We have designed Scribbles to be what we as parents want and deserve in an environment that cares for our children's needs.
At Scribbles, we know that the care that infants, toddlers, and twos receive, along with their experiences during their first three years has a powerful influence on how they learn and grow throughout their lifetime. In fact, brain research that used to say 50 percent of what an individual learns over a lifetime occurs by age 5 now suggests that this might even occur earlier - as early as age 3, acknowledging this is a vital learning period.
The Creative Curriculum for Preschool, a proven research-based curriculum, serves as the foundation for our preschool curriculum at Scribbles. A major piece of The Creative Curriculum is the play-based environment in which children learn.

We have created a safe environment for children ages 5-12 years old, to discover who they are and what they are interested in. We provide opportunities for them to explore with hands-on, inquiry-based learning activities such as STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), where they can engage in dramatic play and discover and construct imaginary worlds with various materials available as well as through the creative arts.
At the center of Scribbles is a fantastic gross motor room with 18-foot raised ceilings, drenched in natural sunlight. Children enjoy music and movement as part of the daily curriculum. The children love climbing on the rock wall! This feature offers a challenging gross motor opportunity that can be adapted to meet the needs of all developmental stages.
