Cute little mom and pop inn. Price was very reasonable and came with a simple breakfast. The staff were all more than accommodating and very friendly. Not a swanky 5 star resort, but the bed was comfortable, the place was absolutely SPOTLESS, and had nice amenities like shampoo, body wash, coffee, microwave, and large refrigerator. Exactly what I needed after being on the road and just looking for somewhere to rest my head for the night, but wish I could've stayed longer! Will definitely be back if I find myself out this way again

The people here are so nice and will help you with anything you need. So accommodating. We are here for an extended stay, waiting for our apartment to become available. Everyone helps us make this stressful time much more tolerable. We will come back often when the Café opens back up, I've heard it is a great place to eat. I wanted to formally thank everyone here for their kindness.

I stopped in this cute little Inn a couple nights ago and stayed. I will go back again. It was amazingly clean ya all!! The bed was super comfy. Peacefully quite and has its own little kitchen area minus the stove. The shower was warm and clean. Thank you Dawn for making me feel right at home my 1st time there !!

Never heard of the place but had to stop after being on the road 16 hours. Our room was so clean! Not fancy but very nice. Much better than where we stayed night before. Had a kitchenette too.

A very clean motel with friendly and helpful staff. While this is an older motel it is well renovated and our room was spotless. The room included a small kitchenette and both the microwave and fridge were also very clean. Despite being right off the highway the road noise was negligible. The bed was comfortable and the linens clean and not worn. It was reasonably priced and conveniently placed for visiting The Ark Encounter and The Creation Mueum. I'd stay here again.

We stayed in early November, and found the place lovely. The rooms were nice -- nicer than your typical hotel room. There was lots of room to move around. The beds were nice.
I appreciated having the express check-in where the door code was texted to my phone. So that when we arrived at 1:00am, no need to check in, we just went straight to the room and fell asleep.

No frills, American owned Motel that takes great pride in ensuring your needs are met. I highly recommend if you are visiting the Ark and don't want to spend a ton to lay your head down for the night.

Wonderful little, off the beaten path, motel. Staff were friendly and room was clean. We booked ahead of time, and there was a gift of water and granola bars for my guest and I, and a thank you card. We were made to feel very welcome, overall great experience. Not far from the Ark Encounter, and a lot of food choices in Dry Ridge just a few miles away.

We stayed here two nights while we visited the Ark Encounter. We were unable to make it in time to check in and Dawn was very understanding and helpful and was able to check us in before we got there. Once we walked in the room it was very clean, updated, and perfect size for our family of 4. It was quiet both nights and Dawn was helpful with places to eat since Corinth doesn’t offer much but the surrounding areas do. Would highly recommend! And would love to stay again if we are in the area.

Southern Hospitality! It is a small, older motel but let me say it was nice and VERY CLEAN! They go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome and at home. Dawn is very nice and so is her husband. They have three cats that live there. We met two of them that were extra friendly. Ham reminded us of the cat we used to have and Friday is obviously "The Greeter"! Friday saw to it that we felt right at home and met us whenever we came out the door. Came with us for our evening stroll around the motel which was lovely. The rooms are small but the best part was the large fridge with freezer and kitchenette

We stayed here for three nights while visiting the creation museum and Ark incounter. The owners treated us great and were very pleasant and also the gentleman that took care of our room was more then helpful and was very prompt . Plus when we walk into our room we found a thank you note and two snack bars welcoming us which really ment a lot

This little motel is a diamond waiting to be discovered. The property may be right off the interstate but we didn't hear a sound. The rooms were clean & modern. The staff friendly & conscientious. It feels just like staying at a friends house.

My husband and I stayed for one night here. We were very disappointed with the inn. First of all, the room was freezing, but once we turned on the heater after several hours and an extra blanket that was given by the manager we were ok. Secondly, the bathroom had mold in the shower tiles and the toilet got clogged. It was wobbly and very uncomfortable to sit on. When we showered the shower head did not have any pressure and the water drained slowly leaving us to shower with our feet in our dirty water. We had to shower with a trickle of water. We went to bed tired only to wake up to the noises

Everything is relative and this place is great for the price Clean & simple Who has a full size fridge in your room? These guys,American owned (that'll preach) It is an older establishment but they have done a good job remodeling and updating. I like it!! At $55 a night Safe area I'll be back

We enjoyed our stay at the North Star Inn. We had visited The Ark Encounter and found this inn very convenient. The room was clean and the bed comfy. They even had bottled water, granola bars and a personal handwritten note waiting for us! There is a small kitchenette in the room . We can tell they have done many updates. Hopefully the next step will be to update plumbing and bath tub. We had a lovely crab cake dinner at the restaurant that is on the property. Everyone has been so friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

For a small mom-and-pop place that's an older building and in a tiny town, it was very clean, newly refitted and had a mini-kitchen. It was also packed the night we stayed, which was nice, since you know they have business and will be there again.

Got extra towels for our room, no problem. Everyone was polite and helpful.

We booked this hotel based on the reviews from hotels.com. The reviews do not accurately describe our experience based on the room we were given. The room had a moldy and strong musty smell and was not clean. The refrigerator door trimming had mold. The bathtub was dirty and stained. The pillows were extremely dingy and had a stain of it looked like blood. We did not end up staying the 3 nights we had booked and took a loss for the one night. The girl at the front desk was nice enough to refund the other 2 nights.

The room is dated but that is no excuse for the room being clean!

It's a great location to the Ark Encounter. The staff was very friendly and personal touches like a handwritten thank you card in our room was a pleasant surprise. The cafe was nice though the menu is small.

The room was a mix. There was a flat screen tv but the furniture is dated and a bit mismatched. The bed and pillows were comfortable and there were no issues with the heating. Newer blinds hung on the windows but provided little to filter out the outside lights when they came on so there was a lot of light in the room. I prefer a dark room so I didn't get the best night's sleep

The hotel has a plumbing issue. The tub takes a long time to drain. We showered and got ready and packed the car which took about 45 minuets for the 3 of us and the tub was still about half full. Upon checking out we told the clerk the water was still in the tub. Told her they should get it fixed that nobody wants to take a bath in dirty water and her comment was Well its your water. When it does finally drain there's sediment in the tub. Would have stayed again if plumbing was fixed but not after that comment.

So, we went to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum (look for my reviews) and was very shy about booking a place to stay that wasn't a "chain" or well known. I trusted Yelp as I have in the past to help me.

We arrived after a long day and I was pleasantly surprised. It's such a quaint place, that you can see that the check in is a booth in the diner.

The main thing (and this is so important to me) is that it was clean. Bathroom floor and shower tiles were very clean. Bathroom......clean. Kitchen.......clean Beds.......clean and quite comfortable.

A few things

This is a newly owned hotel and cafe and is a great alternative for people visiting the Ark Encounter. The staff is great, food great, and I had a wonderful night sleep.
