Hollywood DJ is always so helpful and can get you what you need. The pandemic has made it difficult for many event providers over the past 2 years but they are still here. They are open and provide great service. Shoutout to Alan for hooking it up

Bought a road case rack from them online. Listed as Open box, described as excellent condition. It arrived packaged poorly but in undamaged packaging. All corners are scratched up and/or dented some panels are dented. Loose screws and missing nuts. No response from seller when messaged about settlement.

This place is awesome!!! The only place I go to for any Dj needs!!! Always has what I need in stock and great people working there!!! Ask for Allen he is very knowledgeable and always gives great discounts!!!!

They work under another name, Hollywood Guitar on Reverb.com They listed an item with free shipping that I purchased and paid for, after a week of messaging them for a status they just said it was gonna cost me an additional $200 in shipping and before I could even reply they cancelled my order and never replied back to me with why they just cancelled my order. This company is just a drop ship middleman.

POOR. F- . No emailed Receipt. Had to call back for my tracking number. Sold me a part I didn't ask for. Then gonna tell me to find someone to install the Wrong part. Now won't answer the phone to return the part.
If not in LA don't order nothing online from these folks.

I called them to check stock on an item that everyone else was back ordered on. Not only did they have this item in stock, but they shipped it the same day! I was able to gift it to my son the VERY NEXT DAY!

Great customer service. I accidentally ordered the wrong item online. I contacted customer service via email and I received a response immediately. They provided me guidance in replacing the item with the correct product. I received the product within a few days through Fedex. Thank you very much!

Just wanted to let you guys know your service and communication is everything! I have purchased lots of equipment from other companies throughout all these years. I bought a decksaver cover for my pioneer S11 mixer about a month ago. One thing that I’m big on is communicating with me about when my item will arrive. I understood it was a preorder item but you guys always sent me emails keeping me updated with what was happening and loved that!

I live in Mobile, Alabama. My band Everwas suggested that I purchase the Behringer EQ700 pedal to dial in a stellar lead tone, so I shopped online for one. Turns out literally EVERYONE (including Amazon) was out of stock, except for Hollywood DJ. I purchased the pedal from them, then got a call from Allen (store manager) the next day that they were also out of stock. Well, almost; they still had the display model. Allen offered me the display pedal for $5 less than the normal price. This was a week ago; the pedal arrived today and I am ecstatic! I will definitely purchase equipment from Hollywood

We drove from Santa Ana for a pioneer mixer and mr Allen the owner drives a fair hard bargain... great prices on top brands

Hollywood DJ is the place. It might seem a little ghetto because it is in downtown LOS Angeles but the quality of the speaker is amazing and the guy who helped me out was funny and helps answer any questions you got

Main reason why I go there to get all my speakers is because they will give you a good deal when you buy in bulks

Next time you are in need of speakers stop by here first and then adventure on if you want but in the end I am sure you will end up back at Hollywood DJ

For the amateur DJ on a budget, this place is one of the better choices. In the heart of the DJ district in DTLA, there's a good selection of used equipment to fit any price point.
When you get a phone quote, write down everything because they forget the prices they quoted and usually charge more when you get there.
Parking is tight, so your best bet is middle of the day or right before they close.

Terrible, I order 2 expensive studio monitors, wait 2 weeks for delivery only to receive one monitor. SO glad I spend almost $1,400.

Customer service then argues with me that "they were shipped in one box" as if I cant tell an empty cardboard box from a full one. He returns to tell me his shipping guys forgot it on the dock and it was never shipped. They would also refuse to cover the expedited shipping I now needed and saddled me with an additional $250 just to receive the products I paid for when I was supposed to.
