If you've had a vision screening recently, you might say, My vision is fine! I don't need a comprehensive eye exam. But a vision screening provides a limited perspective on the overall health of your eyes. It's a bit like getting your blood pressure checked and not getting the rest of your annual physical.
Visiting Family Eye Care is like visiting family. Everyone is happy and genuinely take the time to make sure your glasses are exactly what you want and you feel confident in them and that everything fits perfect. Dr. Cook was an absolute professional. He was informative, answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable.
Globally, research suggests that in the year 2000, roughly 25 percent of the world's population was nearsighted but by the year 2050, it's expected that roughly half the people on the planet will be myopic. If your child has myopia (nearsightedness), you're probably wondering if there is a cure or at least something that can be done to slow its progression so your child doesn't need stronger glasses year after year.

Dr. Cook is always enjoyable to visit with during my appointments- and thorough with his explanations of findings during the exam. My 5 yr old had his first eye exam with Dr. Cook as well- he was patient with my otherwise fidgety child! And left saying he "had fun!"

Stopped in to look at glasses. The girl working came and told me . Your insurance changed . You can come back when you find out if you have coverage. I said I’ve been a patient for 20 yrs . It didn’t matter I was asked to leave. I do have coverage but I won’t be back . No one should be treated like that .

I have used this place each year for past 3-4 years. Always a problem with my prescription, frames and now insurance. I had to use them because they accept my eye insurance. The customer service has been the biggest issue. No matter the problem they will try and make you feel as if it’s you. Glasses are a tricky thing and these folks use that against you. Quick story of one visit: I had an eye exam and used my own frames, out of pocket was over $300 for lenses only. This is with insurance and Medicare. So sad but yes I will use a Walmart instead. If I must pay $300 a visit at family eye care

I had a Great experience with Family eye Care. I had put off getting new glasses for several years and finally decided to go with them. The girls were friendly and nice (especially Sara) and my glasses are perfect! I can see again! The doctor was very nice and did a thorough exam. I'm happy with my experience!

Always friendly, never pretentious, very helpful and understanding. When I had limited insurance they were good about services that I didn't need. Now I have great insurance and they still look out for what I actually need and do not take advantage. That means that care about me, not what they get out of it.
