Unlike conventional medicine, which focuses on attempting to treat disease once it occurs, Bettendorf Chiropractic Wellness Center emphasizes improving your health in an effort to reduce the risk of pain and illness in the first place. Most people would rather be healthy and avoid illness, if they could.
We understand that arriving at a doctors office for the first time can be nerve racking. Filling out paperwork, learning new faces and names, and getting to know your way around the office can be an overwhelming experience. That's why at Bettendorf Chiropractic Wellness Center our aim is to remove any stress or causing unnecessary tension and to make you feel comfortable.
Chiropractic care is like building a house - certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work correctly. When building a house, if you tried to put up your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually collapse. If you tried to put on your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem.
At your first appointment please bring your current ID and insurance card. Upon entering our office, a receptionist will welcome you to our office. If you haven't already filled out the New Patient Forms, located in the Online Forms tab, we will ask you to do so upon arrival. This paperwork will provide us with your health history and information on your condition.
Most people are under the assumption that if they don't feel any pain that there is nothing wrong with them - that they are healthy. Unfortunately, pain is a very poor indicator of health. In fact, pain and other symptoms frequently only appear after a disease or other condition has become advanced.

I didn't realize the lack of care I was getting until I went to an upper cervical chiropractor. The doctors at Bettendorf Chiropractic are personable and I enjoyed making small talk with them, but their care is very routine and subpar to what I've now experienced. I was usually in and out in less than 5 minutes. I didn't really feel like they listened to me or tried to figure out what was wrong. It was just the same thing every time with no evaluation pre or post adjustment. My lower back was out completely most of the times I went and maybe half of the times the adjustment would help and half

Dr. Gina helped me back in February when my back went out from picking up my daughter. I have gone to her, as needed, ever since with great outcomes. Her adjustments are thorough and she cares about her patients. I also see a therapist there named Heather. She has done amazing work on getting my back to the point for a great adjustment and eased the tension in my whole back. Her massage is tailored to my needs and communication to get it just right every time is a strong skill for her.
