Spanish Valley Vinyard
We specialize in single-vineyard estate-bottled wines. That means from the growth of the grapes, through fermentation and bottling, we handle the entire process. Our wine never leaves our Moab property until it is 100% bottled, packaged, and ready for you! Come visit us for $15 tastings and $50 vineyard tours.

Made from cherries grown in Payson, Utah this refreshing wine can be enjoyed chilled and alone or can even be used in a cocktail. Our winemaker carefully monitors each step of the process, from vine to bottle, to ensure the flavors are exactly as we intended them to be. Our vineyard dates back to 1979 as a Utah State University agricultural project to determine what industries could supplant the waning uranium mining industry.

Great little spot and micro vineyard. Wine tasting had us leave with a few bottles. This will probably become a regular pit stop for our regular trips to Moab.

Great wine tasting experience here! It's a small local winery that has very nice wines and a cute ambiance. Jorre was very friendly and personable, and the head winemaker was kind enough to give us a tour of their production process. Highly recommend!

This was possibly one of the most fun wine tours and tastings we have had! Glen was a great host, happy to share everything he has learned about viticulture and wine making in his two or more decades of stewardship. You can tell he's passionate about the vines (his children), the weather and earth that impacts everything he does and the process of getting the fruit from the vine and into the bottle. Jorre was pouring in the tasting room, and what a breath of fresh air she is! Lovely girl, easy to talk to, and probably should be getting paid for just being fantastic! We met a fun couple from Louisiana

My mom and I visited here first thing on our visit to Moab. We loved the scenery and the vineyard. I bought her a bottle of the GewĆ¼rztraminer, we did a tasting, I sent my drone over the vineyards and we chatted with other guests for quite a while

Wine tasting was fun and the host was very friendly. But it was incredibly casual. There is only a few chairs and a small space for tasting. And when we arrived the wine glasses were grabbed from a cardboard box outside. So the glasses were very warm and had cardboard and dust in them.

We had such an enjoyable experience at this winery šŸ· it was the best tasting wine and wine tasting Iā€™ve ever had, it was hard to pick which one to purchase. However, we left with a total of 5 bottles and 2 flavors since we were in town. What was super awesome, is they went the extra mile to weigh the wine bottle so we can make sure it fit in our luggage. Highly recommend checking this vineyard at, if youā€™re trying to decide between castle creek winery and this one. I just made your decision.

We loved touring and talking with Glenn about all their delicious wine. Glenn was easy to talk to and get along with and was highly educated on what he does. This is def worth checking out! Also if you are looking for a place to stay they have a house on the vineyard listed on Airbnb which I wish we would have known about beforehand!

The wine doesn't taste great. The service is interesting and the chairs are a match of regular stools and camping chairs.

This place is a hidden gem! I came out to Moab for a few days to do some hiking in the area. I stumbled upon this place as it's down the street from where I'm staying and it was the perfect way to end a day of hiking. The tasting was $12 for 7 different wines and I ended up buying a bottle of their Cabernet which I loved. Fun, unfussy little spot to pop into after a day on the trails!

I can't say enough about how fantastic this place is!! The wines were amazing, as was the scenery. Jared was a fantastic host who took the time to talk us through their wines (even when they were technically closed). The Riesling is particularly good, with the vines it comes from literally steps away! They're planning an expansion that sounds lovely, but this winery is already a gem that I'd absolutely recommend.

Owner was really cool, explaining each wine and the recommendations on pairing with foods. Picked up a couple German table wines, one dry and one sweet. Excited to try them; sweet pairs with braut and dry with cream cheese jalapeƱos and bacon. He also had classic Riesling and Cabernet which we picked up. Cool designs on the bottles. I'll update once I try them out.

What an amazing experience! We had a tasting with Glenn. For only five dollars apiece, we were able to try six different wines. He even took us on a tour of where the wine is made. I highly recommend!

We were wondering why this winery wasn't listed with the other winery north of Moab. Now we know why. We drove through a residential area to get there and stop in front of what looks like someone's house. A group of people are shooting astound a table eating and a man is working in the driveway with some winery equipment. No greeting from anyone (not counting the dog who met us at the car). We're wondering if we're in the right place. Then I see the small sign that says winery. Still no greeting from anyone, so I ask the guy working if they are open. He doesn't answer my

Glenn is a nice guy. Owns the vineyard and does all the work himself. Good selection of whites. Was pleased and took a couple of bottles to go. Pours are generous. Talk is friendly. Place is a teeny tiny whole in the wall behind a being constructed neighborhood.

The price for a tasting is a very reasonable $5 with pretty generous pours. The wine was dry and not super sweet (except for the dessert wine which was an unexpected delight). The tasting room is small and intimate, with our wine maker giving us lots of helpful and interesting information throughout the taste. It is definitely not the pomp of a Napa tasting room but if you want a taste of Utah this is your place.

Also as a note, he talked about buying grapes from other states to supplement with their own to make wine and about a freeze a few years ago where they lost all their grapes. Apparently

Loved this little place, the people and the wine! A girlfriend and I were in Moab to go hiking but when we saw that there were wineries in Moab, we cut one of our hiking days short to go visit them!

This one was by far our favorite. The man who ran us through the wine tasting was very knowledgeable and answered all of my silly questions. He even gave us a tour of their production area.

While this isn't your "upscale, pinkies out" kind of place, the small facility and staff made this my favorite winery in Moab.

Small tasting room. Only enough seats for 4 people inside. At a residence, in a building that once was the garage. So a little different, but that's okay. Sometimes different is good, as in this case. We enjoyed the visit; the whites were good. Husband declared the Riesling as the best he had ever tasted. Normally, Rieslings are sweet, this Riesling was on the dry side, so it was more to our taste.

The winemaker was knowledgeable and personable, showing us his backroom operations and explaining in detail his methods. There is a $5 tasting fee. We left with 2 bottles of white wine

We enjoyed our visit here during a trip to Moab. This is definitely not a swanky winery, and the tasting room is small, but the winemaker who took us through our tasting was very personable and knowledgable. We liked the riesling and late harvest riesling the best, which are estate-grown (some of those offered at the tasting are not). The wines are very affordable ($13-17/bottle). If you are looking for a Napa-like experience, this may not be for you, but for the down-to-earth casual wine drinker, it is a good stop.

Stopped in during our trip to Moab earlier this month, looking for some local flavor. The winery isn't quite like other wineries I've experienced. The owner was nice enough, and took us through his various offerings, which were overall decent. Hence the two stars.

Here's why it was only two stars: The tasting room, and the barrels, are basically in this guy's garage. There is a small bar setup (that had ants crawling on it) set up in the corner, with a stereo playing some good classic rock. The wine that is fermenting, is in plastic barrels, which seemed odd. I live very close

We enjoyed the stop. Worth our time. Small winery doing good work. We enjoyed the time and talking to the owner. He is a biker and shared some information of the area. He bought it a few years ago. He is re-labeling the wines. He has some fruit wine, cherry and apple. He has some sweet wines. He has some red wines. Tastings are free. He will let you taste whatever you want to try. We bought a few bottles to enjoy while in town. He also has a very cute wine dog. Happy we found it.
