Caribbean Pearl Catering is the passion project of professionally trained chef, Lina Grammont. Lina started her career in the finance industry and completely shifted gear as a food truck owner and gradually moved up to full-service catering. After studying at International Culinary Education and stints at some of New York City's best catering companies and restaurants, Lina started Caribbean Pearl Catering in 2013.

I do not recommend her services. My fiancé and I Had an initial consult scheduled for our wedding catering scheduled. We are excited and anticipating. Lina, the caterer, She never called. She was a no show. Emailed her and then had to call again. This time she was driving and very distracted and not very convincing as to what she offers. Nevertheless we gave her benefit of the doubt and Scheduled a taste test for which my fiancé and I had to pay for. Yes we had to pay about 125 dollars for taste testing. We Called and emailed her to confirm address and appt a few days prior. No

Hired Lina for my husband's surprise 40th birthday and had an excellent experience. Food was amazing, she put up decorations while we got him out of the house, so everything looked awesome when we came home and surprised him. We loved everything, but our favorites were the fig and brie in puff pastry, the chicken empanadas, the shrimp with grits appetizer, and the corn soufflé side dish. My family and friends were raving about everything, and I would definitely hire Lina again in a heartbeat.

My name is Allen Cardwell, I'm a manager at a peer run crisis respite in Nassau County under the Mental Health Association of Nassau County called Turquoise House, Caribbean Pearl found out about our house and offered to cater Thanksgiving dinner for the guests and team as a donation to the work we do. I'm going to tell you how touched we all are by this and then about how wonderful the meal is. Personally, I cooked the dinner last year at the house but this year I sprained my wrist a few days ago badly and it would have been very hard to handle it again now. We go above and beyond to

Lina of Caribbean Pearl was a amazing to work with for my wedding! I found Lina on a website and when we met for the first time, we immediately cliqued! She provided exactly what we wanted for our wedding menu (fusion of soul & caribbean food). Lina checked in with my constantly to make sure I was ok and the planning process wasn't stressing me out too bad. On the day of the wedding the food was a hit! We got married two months ago and people are still talking about the food and how amazing it was! I can't wait to host another event when I can have CP cater.

I was looking for a Haitian caterer to provide some dishes for our French-themed party. I found Caribbean Pearl online. Lina was wonderful to work with and provided 5 delicious dishes for our party, including a Curried Tofu (which contained plenty of veggies) for our vegan guests. Although we are a good 45 minutes to an hour from Valley Stream, the distance was not an issue. I highly recommend Caribbean Pearl for delicious food, and wonderful service.
